Ivan stayed awake most of the flight, resting next to Matthew. Eventually he fell asleep but not for long. After his small nap, he picked up Matthews hand and gently held it.

It wasn't long after that the plane finally descended, Ivan gently shook Matthew awake. Matthew looked up at him with a confused expression. Ivan smiled, "We're in Ottawa Matvey~."
Matthew sat up, looking out the window.
"Yay! I'm so happy we're here!" He giggled.
Once the plane came to a stop they were told it was okay to get off. The two grabbed their bags and walked down the aisle, Kuma followed them, nobody seemed surprised to see a polar bear walking down the aisle.

Once they got into the airport, Kuma clawed at Ivan's pants until he picked him up and carried him like Matthew usually did.
"Aw, he likes you," Matthew chuckled.
"No I do not, I'm sick of walking so I make this guy carry me." Kuma groaned.
Matthew giggled shaking his head.
"Let's get out of this airport, then we'll unpack when we get to my house."
"Да, sounds good." Ivan chuckled.

The two men and the bear made it out of the airport and to the road.
"Come this way, there is a nice path so we're not close to the road." Matthew gestured them towards the crosswalk. They walked across the road, then onto a sidewalk that eventually led them onto a cobblestone path that went through a park.

Ivan looked around at the park lit by only moonlight. It was a quite beautiful setting actually. He looked down at Matthew, 'absolutely perfect,' he thought to himself, referring more to Matthew than the scenery.

The walk was much longer than what Ivan had expected. He didn't mind, it was just a bit much dragging around his luggage down a cobblestone path.
"I'm sorry it's so far, this is the quickest route." Matthew looked away.
"It's perfectly fine Matvey. Trust me I've walked much greater distances, alone at that..." Ivan smiled at him.
Matthew smiled back, linking his arm with Ivan's, leading him along the path.
It was quiet. Nobody was in the park at this hour, just the two of them and Kuma. There was a sign marking the end of the park. As they walked past it, the path shifted from cobblestone to dirt.

"You want to see something cool?" Matthew asked.
Ivan tilted his head nodding, "Sure, why not?"
Matthew giggled, leading him through a opening in the trees. After a couple seconds, they reached a little grassy area that overlooked a lake.
"You can see the sun rise from here in the morning. It's really pretty." Matthew said.
The moonlight shone on the water, making it glimmer. The light from the water lit up Matthew's glasses and eyes, making them sparkle. The moon was perfectly visible. It happened to be a full moon tonight.

Ivan smiled a bit, looking out at the water and the star speckled sky. He looked down at Matthew who met his gaze. The two stared for a moment before they each leaned into each other, gently locking their lips. Kuma climbed off Ivan's back.
"Gross," he whined as the pair ignored him.

Matthew wrapped his arms around Ivan's shoulders, holding their kiss softly. Ivan returned the action, holding him by the lower back.
Matthew now decided to deepen their kiss, pressing his tongue against Ivan's lips. Ivan got the message, opening his mouth enough for Matthew's to explore. Ivan did the same to Matthew, their tongues clashing.

They stood there for minutes, locked in their deep kiss. Ivan gently pulled away, a string of saliva connecting them. They wiped it way, then hugged each other tightly.

After a while of just embracing each other in the moonlight, Matthew spoke up. "I think we should get home," he giggled.
"I almost forgot where we were." Ivan chuckled. "I guess everything just fades away when you're happy..." Ivan paused. He walked closer to the edge so the wind his his face. He smiled out onto the water.
"Happy..."

Happy. It was something Ivan never truly felt. He was more than content. He was happy when he was with Matthew. Matthew made him smile, nobody else could do that. Matthew made him feel good, like the chains of his past were lifted off his shoulders, just for the moments he was with Matthew.

He turned back to Matthew from the water, the moon touched his face. His eyes had a new sparkle to them, they weren't dull as they usually were.

Matthew smiled at him, "you make me happy too..." he said softly, cuddling up to Ivan's arm. Ivan smiled, looking out on the lake. He rested his head on Matthew's.
"I love you, Matvey."
"I love you too..."
