"Gracie.." There were several knocks on my door.

"Gracie.."

I instantly sat up and yawned.

"Yeah Dad?" I stretched and rubbed my eyes.

"Did I wake you?" He asks on the other side of the door.

"What? No, I've been up for hours." I say as I rest my head on my hand. I slowly close my eyes.

"Breakfast is ready.." He says softly.

"I'm up, I'm up!" I yell.

I got up and walked straight to the bathroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I looked at myself in the mirror and made a disgusting face. Did I really look like THAT in the morning?

I brushed my hair back and ran down the stairs.

To my surprise, Annie and Sarah were in my living room, chatting away with my mom.

"Annie? Sarah? W-What are you?"

"We wanted to come hang out. You know, bond?" Annie says with that innocent smile of hers.

"They are very sweet Gracie." My mom says to me.

"Gracie?" They both question.

I rolled my eyes and said in a soft voice

"It's my middle name.."

They both Awww'd as I continued to roll my eyes.

"Yeah yeah, anyways, what 'Bond' do you have in mind?" I asked as I sat on the couch next to my mom.

"I don't know, maybe hit the mall.."

"Or the beach.." Sarah suggested.

"Those all seem like very nice ideas girls." My mother nods as she takes another sip of her tea.

"The mall seems nice." I say as i play with my hair.

The beach wasn't really my thing, the sun, the sand sticking to you and the freezing ocean water..not for me. I'm not like most girls who are those total beach goers.

"Great, well get ready!" Annie says as she got up from the couch.

"Oh, you mean now? I haven't even ate yet!" I said in a loud tone, "let alone look presentable!"

"Calm down sweetie." My mom says, "lets just all go eat."

"Good idea." I say as I headed to the kitchen.

"You girls are welcomed to join." My mom suggests.

"Oh, thank you Mrs.Smith!"

"Oh, please, call me Josie." She says with a smile as she takes another sip of her tea.

After breakfast was over and I had taken a shower, I went over to my night stand, remembering about the mysterious letter I had found earlier in the morning.

As I was about to open the letter, Annie and Sarah barge in, while I was still in my robe.

"Woah! I'm naked here you guys!" I yelled as I raced for the bathroom.

"Oh, you have your robe on." Annie says as she jumps onto my bed.

"Whatever, just-hand me my clothes will ya?" I said as I stuck one arm out the door.

Annie handed me my clothes and I quickly got dressed.

"Alright, lets go." I say As I grab my wallet and phone.
