I stumbled over as I tried to walk in these damn heels. I needed to talk to Tony. I had to tell him my true feelings about this. I just wanted to be alone with him.
"Let's talk." I said as I reached my hand out to Tony.
He grabbed my hand as I lead him to the dressing room I was in earlier.
Once we were in there he sat on the ground, not saying anything. He was crushed and so was I.
But I was actually glad that Mike put a stop to this.
We weren't ready, and Tony must now realize it.
"Listen, Tony-" I began.
"If you didn't want to get Married, why didn't you just tell me?" He said as he shot me an angry look, "why did you say yes in the first place?"
"Listen, I really love you, it seemed like a great idea! But as the day passed I began to rethink it, are we ready for marriage Tony?" I questioned.
"Yes!" He shouted. "Well..actually, no.."
"And here we are, almost about to make a big mistake."
I said as I kicked my heels off. I slid down the wall, sitting next to Tony.
I hid my face in between my knees.
"I just wanted you to be mine till death do us part .." He whispered.
I then popped my head to the right, letting my legs fall to the floor.
"And we will be together Tony, just not today.. Agreed?" I said as I stuck my hand out for a hand shake.
"Agreed." He said as he shook my hand.
He then pulled me into a hug.
"Wow" he says,"Getting married now seems kind of insane."
"You know, we still can..just when we are both ready.." I said as I stared into his eyes. I leaned in closer and closer. Soon enough, our lips crashed into each other. It was as if sparks flew. Like it was one of those cliché movie kisses.
Yeah, you get the image.
Once we pulled away, he then said:
"You mean that?"
"If i didn't, I wouldn't have said it." I say with a smirk.
We soon got up and pulled each other into a tight hug, never wanting to let go. I know I say this a lot, but when I say it I mean it, I love Tony and I know he loves me, and that's pretty cool.
Never would I have ever thought that when I moved here I would fall in love and almost get married. I thought I'd be miserable and alone for the rest of my life.
Well I was wrong.
Dead wrong.
"C'mon, lets go." Tony said as he took my hand.
We walked out to see all our friends joined together, in anticipation to see what will happen next.
Once they saw me and Tony hand in hand they couldn't help but smile and clap.
Even Mike, which took me by surprise.
"Now, can we please get out of here?!" Sarah says, "The feeling of being in a wedding chapel just gives me the chills." She said as she crosses her arms.
"Lets go!" Tony says as we run out the door.
"Okay everyone, you know the drill. Get in the car." Mike says as he climbs in and turns on the ignition.
"Okay, watch the dress, watch. The. Dress." I say holding my arms up.
"Hannah, it's already stained with your make-up." Sarah says in an annoyed tone.
"I can wash it out though." I say as I put my hair up in a messy bun.
"Sayonara Vegas! Until next time.." Mikes yells as he starts to speed out of this place.
I felt my phone buzz so I checked, it was Mike. A smile appeared on my face as I read his message.
"Happy you didn't go through with this, don't wanna see you make a mistake and be sad forever. (:"
It may sound bad, but to me it didn't.
Imagine me. Married. Hah! Not at this age. I do want to have a good life you know. I want to graduate, go to a university, have a career and make a living first.
But I'm sure I can squeeze in this proposal somewhere in between there.
I looked behind me to see that Vic and Sarah were hitting it off.
"Wow, you actually bring the best out of her." I said laughing as I put emphasis on the word 'actually'.
"It feels...right." Sarah says with a smile.
"Okay..weird since you are actually smiling because of a guy.." I say, laughing again.
"Hey, not just a guy." Vic says pouting.
"I know, I know." I turned back to see Jaime passed out in the passengers seat. Man, this guy can sleep so quick.
To my left, a sleeping Annie.
She looked so innocent when she's asleep.
Too innocent to be exact.
All that was left were me and Tony.
Tony was playing some kind of game on his phone while I rested my head on his shoulder, watching him play.
"This will sure be a peaceful ride home." I say.
"Yeah, because Jaime's asleep." Mike laughs.
"That is one of the reasons." Vic says laughing as well.
"Uh-oh.." I say as I covered my mouth.
Tony instantly slipped his phone in his pocket. He knew what that meant.
"Mike, pull over now!" He yells.
"Why?"
"Just do it!"
He then made an abrupt stop near a street, thank god there were no people.
I quickly got out of the car.
Yes, that nauseas feeling came back to haunt me at the wrong time and at the wrong place.
Annie soon woke up as she heard me, worried, she instantly bolted for me, telling me if I was okay.
"Yeah, this has been happening for..3 days? 4 days? I'll be fine. It's normal." I say trying to make her worry less.
"Are you sure that's normal Hannah?"
"I'm pretty sure."
She looked so unsure, but she nodded and went back in the car and so did I.
"Anyone got gum? Specifically mint?"
"I got it." Sarah says.
What a life saver.
"You alright Hannah?" Mike asks in concern.
"Yeah, yeah. I-I'm fine. Don't worry, just get us home." I say as I put a hand on my forehead.
"Just a couple of hours to go and its home sweet home." He says in a soft voice.
"Finally." I soon say, wanting to lay on my bed, see my parents and breathe in that fresh San Diego air.
I just wanted to be home.
