Prologue: Nora's Arrival

The night was pitch black and and rain fell furiously, as if the world was mourning the loss of one of it's champions. While Greg was taking care of the newborn baby at the car wash, Amethyst was looking for food outside, and Pearl was in her room, mourning the loss of her savior. Garnet stood outside of the temple, waiting for something. She didn't know what it was, but she knew it was important. After she turned around, she heard running footsteps. When she looked to investigate the noise, all that she found was a small bundle of cloth. Curious, she went to look. Inside the cloth were two things: a letter and a baby girl. The child was shivering, so Garnet quickly wrapped her in her arms. Almost instantly, the girl stopped shivering, and fell asleep. Awhile after she fell asleep, a Garnet read the letter. Under her visor, her three eyes widened in shock. After she finished reading the letter, she bubbled it and sent it off to the burning room before going to get Greg. This child was special, she was sure of it.
