Steven grinned as he showed Connie his room. It was his first time doing so, and it felt like a million butterflies were taking flight in his stomach. "And this is my hamburger backpack! It has a lot of pockets, and its great for missions! And.... Connie?" Connie looked towards Steven as she lifted her gaze from the old scrapbook she had been looking through. "Steven.... who's this girl standing next to you in these pictures?" Steven peered over her shoulder to gaze at the page. "Hmmmmm....... Oh yeah! That's my twin sister Nora! She ran away from home when we were eight, and we haven't seen her since." "Steven....." Connie whispered. "I know this girl."
"What really?!?"
"Yes really."
"But how?"
At this, Connie blushed. "She.... um....kindasavedmylife!" Steven blinked. Once. Twice. Three times. Then he yelled in shock. "WHAT!?!?!"
A/N: In case you didn't figure it out, in this Nora runs away at age eight, never meeting Connie at school. I'll probably add more to this AU later.
