It's been a few days since Takashi, Keith and Lance had arrived at the hotel. No one seemed really comfortable except for Takashi. He never really slept at night either way, but he moved through the building and helped without seeming too worried about anything.

Keith and Lance on the other hand started sneaking into each others rooms at night when no one would be awake to notice it. They were supposed to sleep in seperate rooms, but Keith definitely felt a little more safe when someone else was around to keep their eyes open. Whenever Keith was asleep, the other was awake to keep an eyes on the door. Of course it also worked the other way around. One of them always ended up being tired or sleeping during the day, while the other watched the door or stayed close to the room.

"So? How's your stay been so far?" Keith winced when he heard a voice behind him as he walked down the hall to check on Lance. He sighed and turned around to look at the man. Lotor was smiling, not a single hint of worry about this situation in his eyes. "It's better than being on the street, I guess," he mumbled, stepping back a little when the tall man walked over to him.

There was a safe distance between them. At least until Lotor took a big step forward, taking a strand of Keith's dark hair into his hand. A shiver ran down the boy's spine and his stomach turned. He was never one for touches, but this made him feel more uncomfortable than anything he ever experienced. "I'm glad you like it so much here. Stay as long as you want to." A grin tucked on Lotor's lips as he leaned a little closer to the other's face.

That was when Keith had eniugh and oushed the taller man away, his breath slightly shaky. "We'll leave as soon as we have a new plan," he hissed and turned on his heel, quickly making his way to Lance's room. Once he arrived there he locked the door, taking a deep breath. He definitely needed to talk about a plan with Takashi and Lance next time they'd all be alone in the same room.

That didn't happen for two other days. Not until Keith got active.

Keith grabbed Takashi's hand and pulled him into Lance's room, where the Cuban boy was sitting on his bed, leaning back on his hands. It almost looked like an intro scene for a horrible porn movie. "So," the Korean started as he sat down next to Lance.

"What's going on?"

"We need to leave. I don't feel safe here. Let's fill up the car tonight and run."

Takashi raised a brow and crossed his arms. His careless mask seemed to crack a little. It almost seemed as if he wasn't feeling safe either.

Silence took over the room for a moment before he spoke up.

"Keith, we can't steal from them. And, I understand where you're coming from, but we'll die if we go out there without finding anyone else or a place to get food and drinks from." He was right, Keith knew that much. He glanced at Lance who frowned, seemingly lost in his thoughts.

"What if we got a local map? We could check for gas stations, restaurants, supermarkets and similar places. We need better weapons, too," Lance said when he finally sat up straight. Keith only nodded. Of course, this was just in case they found a map. Though Lance was pretty sure there should be one around, after all they were stuck in a hotel. A hotel, that probably had tourists stay there. And, javing tourists staying means there should be some sort of travel guide.

Takashi sighed heavily and rubbed his forehead before nodding slightly. "I guess we could do that. We'll talk about it later, okay? I need to think about it." And with that he turned around and left the room, leaving Keith and Lance by themselves.

"Seems like we won this argument." Lance laughed a little and let himself fall back onto the mattress. He always acted to happy and like everything was just fine, even though he knew the living dead were roaming the streets. The entire country was on the edge, if not even all the way to hell already.

This entire world turned into one big hell, yet they still had some hope left in this fight for survival. Not just that, but also having fun, laugh, have hope, have good moments and bad moments. Life. They wanted to live a normal life. Well, at least as normal as it could get.

Almost an entire week passed. No important incidents happened. Lotor couldn't seem to keep his hands to himself, though. His hands always travelled over some part of Keith's body, no matter when or where they ran into each other. He was shameless, almost. Running his hand through Keith's hair and over his neck even if Takashi or Lance were present. It made all three of them uncomfortable.

"You distract Lotor," Takashi pointed to Keith. "Meanwhile I keep the area safe while Lance brings the food to the car," he continued explaining before Keith could protest. He really wanted to get away, but was it really worth being the one to distract someone for couldn't keep their hands to themselves? "Ten o'clock. I'm counting on both of you," The tall man added. His face was so serious. It made it seem a little more handsome, in Keith's opinion. Though he didn't really care, of course. There was more important stuff to worry about than someone's different facial expressions. Even if they were handsome. It shouldn't matter even the tiniest bit. After all, Keith couldn't actually get the hots for someone in the middle of an apocalypse. That'd be stupid.

The day just went like it normally would. Everything was quiet, Takashi helped with some stuff while Keith took a nap with Lance guarding the door.

Lance sighed quietly as he glanced at the sleeping boy. He kinda look peaceful, his expression noticeably softer when he was asleep. He didn't frown at all, which was a pretty rare sight. Either he was always frowning or being sarcastic and mean. For some reason Lance didn't really mind Keith's personality, no matter how mean he sometimes got.

Maybe they'd grow to be good friends sooner or later.

Big thanks to those who encouraged me to get this chapter done, though. I was really happy when I read your guys' comments!
Sadly, I'm gonna have to make you wait again. I'm planning on publishing the next chapter somewhere around my summer break. (Around the beginning of June I think?)
