Jackie's Onassis wedding dress was completely different from her first wedding dress. Jackie this time didn't allow her mother to organise this wedding as it was a private affair. Jackie and Ari married on Skorpios in Air's private chapel. Among the guests were the bride's mother and stepfather, her children and two of JFK's sisters.
Jackie's dress was by Valentino. Jackie's second wedding dress was a lace covered beige dress. The dress was made of ivory silk georgette and lace. It had a softly pleated skirt and a blouse decorated with bands of lace. Jackie had worn the dress the year before to the wedding of Bunny Melon's daughter.
It became Valentino's most famous piece ever and after the wedding, the Italian designer received many requests for the dress. Jackie was gravitated towards Valentino in the late 60s and for Valentino, she was a faithful client for the rest of her life.
