Subduction

Chapter 4

Damon stepped closer to me with a lust-filled smirk. I stepped back, wanting to get the hell away from him.

"Aw baby don't be shy" Damon's raspy voice spoke to me as he stroke me on my cheek and gently lifted my chin up with his index finger.

He leaned forward and he was ready to kiss me. But it didn't go that far because I threw my hand across his cheek making him wide-eyed. "You little bitch!" Damon grabbed both sides of my arms and threw me on the ground harshly landing on my back. I coughed violently due to lack of air because of Damon's sudden action. I look over to my side to see Luke sill laying on the ground lifeless. Blood was surrounding him. I started whimpering because I had no idea of what to do. Luke couldn't help me and I was too weak to defeat a group of five strong guys. Heck I don't even know who these people are! Damon stepped closer and laughed evilly down at me.

I couldn't do anything but to shiver at the disgusting sight of an inhuman human-being that stood before me. Four of the guys dragged Luke away and into the woods right beside the restaurant to keep him hidden. I screamed at the top of my lungs and begged them to stop. They didn't listen. They left me alone with this piece of shit, Damon.

"You're probably wondering who I am aren't you?"

Damon kneeled down so he could look me in the eyes.

"Well, princess, long story short, Luke used to be our.. Oh, what can you call him?.. Friend" Damon spoke. "But he quitted and you can't just quit something when you're with me. So now I just wanna make sure that he knows that he shouldn't of done what he did"

Damon finished and fisted his hand and made contact with my left cheekbone causing me to smash my head to the cold ground. I winched at the unbearable pain. I screamed out loud when he forced himself on top of me and started to tear pieces of clothing off of me. I wanted to call for Luke but he was unconscious and I had no idea what happened to him after the other guys of the group dragged him away. Damon tore off my shorts and ripped my shirt open to reveal my almost naked chest. I just looked at him completely shocked by the situation. He smirked and unzipped his pants.

"LUKEY!" I yelled in a hopeless attempt to call for the only help I could get. "He won't come and help yo.."

Damon got caught off by one of the four guys literally flying through the air and landed unconscious. A few groans and sounds later Luke appeared. His hands were covered in blood and I've never seen him this angry. He bolted towards Damon who looked at Luke like he was a walking zombie. Luke kicked Damon in the face and threw multiple punches at his face making Damon pass out immediately. Luke pushed Damon off of him and took a deep breath.

He calmed himself down a bit and slowly turned around facing me with tears rolling down his cheeks. He took an unsure step towards me. "I-I'm so s-s-sorry" he stuttered and feel to his knees beside me. I rushed to his side. I couldn't care less about all of the pain I was in.

Luke needed me. And I needed him. "It's..okay" I whispered my voice cracking. He sniffed and looked up at me. "I thought they forgot about me" Luke said before shredding another tear. "Who were these people?" The question has been running through my mind this entire time.

"You know..when I used to do drugs and hang out with 'my friends'?"

"Yes..?"

"That was the leader of the group I used to hang out with"

I sighed and kissed Luke's temple pulling him close. He let out a loud sob and wrapped his bruised arm around me.

"I'm sorry that this happened. This is all my fault. If it wasn't for me I-"

"Luke. Stop. I love you. And you're the one I wanna be with. Through good and bad times. And I guess this is one hell of a bad time"

Luke chuckled and moved closer to kiss my swollen lips.

"Let's go home"
