Subduction

Chapter 7

(Luke's P.O.V)

I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. For once it was actually difficult to run because my vision was blurred due to all of the tears that covered my usual happy crystal blue eyes that now were covered with a dull blue that reflected my sadness. For gods sake just let Aurora be okay.

Right after the heartbreaking phone call from the hospital I immediately got to my car and drove away. I don't recall ever driving that fast in my life. I didn't care if people got mad at me because of my insane driving technic. I didn't care if the cops were right in my heels. All I cared about was Aurora.

I didn't even bother to try and find a spot to park my car. I opened the door and ran towards the big building. The rain has already soaked me up but it didn't really matter. The tears have already done that.

I ran to the front desk where a woman sat speaking in a phone. I would have waited for her to finish talking but this situation was far more important than whatever she was talking about.

"Excuse me?" I asked. Just because I was in a hurry doesn't mean that I can't be polite.

All she did was held up a finger at me to tell me to wait a minute.

I gritted my teeth before biting down on my lower lip harshly. My brows connected in the middle as a furious expression started to form on my face.

"Listen here. I got a phone call that told me that my girlfriend was involved in a car crash. Now, I really don't mean to me impolite but my heart is breaking because I have absolutely no damn idea where or how she is. So please, please just take goddamn two seconds to tell me where she is, please?" I whisper/yelled my little speech as more tears came running down my face.

She finally looked up at me and sighed:

"2nd floor, 4th door to the left". She pointed down a long hallway.

"Thank you so much" I said thankfully.

I ran down the hallway and did as I was told until I came to the room she was supposed to be in.

Aurora.

My princess.

My pride and joy.

And there she was. Laying in a hospital bed. Awake. She was awake. Meaning that she was okay.

"Ohh thank god Aurora! I was so worried about you!" I walked up to her side and sat down on a chair beside her bed. She looked up at me confused.

"Uhm excuse me.. Who are you?" Said and I could believe my own ears.

A doctor came in and noticed me.

"Ah you must be Luke. We need to talk"
