Chapter 10

(Aurora's P.O.V)

I just looked at him in shock. There was no way in hell that his name was Luke. I don't even know this stranger. But, however, there's something about him that makes me wanna wrap my arms around him and hold him tight. Let my lips lead my body as I gently press a kiss to his lovingly lips. But a part of me just wanna run away. Run away and forget him. I know that I already have amnesia but it's so nerve wracking and depressing to see all of those people that have come to visit me. They all smile but their eyes show nothing else but sadness. They all ask the same question. 'Do you remember me?'. The same stupid question that I don't even have a chance answering. I don't know these people. Even though they all claim that they're my family and close friends. The worst part of it is they're faces after I tell them the awful truth. They all quickly look to the ground and effortlessly force their tears off of their faces before I notice them. Which I of course did anyway. They all said that it didn't matter and that it'll all come back to me some day. But it won't. But isn't it weird? I don't remember family or really close friends of mine. But something about this, 'Luke', seems so incredibly familiar. I don't recall him saying anything about him being my family so he most be something else.

(Luke's P.O.V)

I don't know what I'm gonna do. She just said my name for gods sake!

"Aurora?" I ask her, whispering, breaking.

She looked at me confused with her brows touching in the middle causing a frown.

"Please just.. Tell me who you are. You're really creeping me out here. You, apparently, know me but I don't know you"

My heart broke each time she said that she didn't know me. It was true though.

"Okay. I'll tell you everything. I promise. But before I do, I would like to show you something"

I finished, looking at her for her response and reaction. She just held her head in her hands before sighing and looking up at me.

"Okay. All yours"

(Aurora's P.O.V)

Luke took me to this place. An apartment. Fuck, what did I get myself in to. Wow, I just followed a complete stranger back to his place and now he was probably gonna drug me and rape me, great Aurora.

Luke walked closely by my side and we were walking in silence. I looked down on our feet as we continued our way towards the front door. As I did so, I noticed his hand rubbing against mine. He wanted to grab it but hesitated and pulled away. I sighed and stopped when Luke pulled out his keys and unlocked the door.

He held the door open for me and I carefully walked in. I stopped in the hallway and looked from right to left, and up to down. A beautiful vase stood empty on a bookshelf and shone brightly when the sun hit it. None of this seemed familiar to me. I turned my body around, ready to walk out but Luke stopped me.

"It's not this that I wanna show you" Luke said quietly.

Something about his face seemed.. weird. He had this emotionless expression, unreadable. Luke pointed to the stairs, gesturing me to go.

We ended up in the master bedroom. Luke quickly dodged me and walked rapidly to get a frame. The frame held a picture of Luke and some girl. I took a few step closer and my eyes locked eyes with the girls eyes only to realize I was looking at my own once. I was the girl on the picture.

"The day that you, unfortunately, got amnesia, was the day that I finally built up the courage to tell you a very big secret of mine"

Luke came towards me and stopped when he was close.

"But before I could do anything your memory had already forgotten me"
