Tuesday brought Yayorouzu, Jirou and Ojiro to the group. Todoroki quickly went over the rules to them as Kirishima dealt out the cards, explaining everything as best he could in a low voice.

Ashido counted how many of them were around the circle, frowned, then recounted.

"Kiri," she said, picking up her cards and spreading them out, but not flipping them to face upwards. "You've got one too many piles."

"What? No, I don't."

As if to prove his words, Bakugou grudgingly leant forwards and picked up the cards. "Say a fucking word and I leave."

Everyone moved forwards to claim a hand in silence.

"You know what? I'm gonna buy a second pack tomorrow." Ashido announced. "There's barely a pile anymore."

Kaminari sighed. "That just means more draw fours for me to suffer."

Asui gave a little croak of laughter, and the game began.

* * *

Bakugou was alarmingly good at Uno, it turned out.

Ochako really shouldn't have been surprised, all things considered. He was good at practically everything, and if he wasn't, Bakugou would continue to work at it until he was.

But after watching Bakugou win three times in rapid succession (the third game several people didn't even get to place down a single card), Ochako was a little put out.

Apparently, so was the rest of the group.

"How are you doing that?" Kirishima asked, leaning back so he could look at Bakugou upside-down. "Any time someone calls Uno, you immediately know what colour they have - what's up with that?"

"He sometimes knows your number too." Ojiro added, rolling his neck to the side. "But so far that's only happened to Kirishima and Kaminari..."

Ochako hadn't failed to see Bakugou watching yesterday. At one point, she swore he whispered tips to her, though whenever she turned to face him he was looking the other way, or down at his phone.

Bakugou was smirking victoriously, and for some reason, Midoriya had a knowing smile on his face.

"Deku, why are you smiling?" She asked, restraining the urge to sigh.

"Oh, it's nothing." He said, lying so shamelessly that no less than four people gaped at him, Ochako included.

He startled under their stunned gaze. "What?"

"You know what Bakugou's secret is, don't you?" Kaminari said, squinting suspiciously at Midoriya.

"Kacchan doesn't have a secret."

"Bakugou?"

"You're all just fucking idiots."

Ochako huffed. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means that you're just really fucking shit at hiding what cards you have."

"I'm not bad." Kirishima said defensively, placing a hand over his heart in mock offence.

"You're leaning on my legs." Bakugou replied, shoving him forwards to prove his point. "I can see what cards you have every time, I'm right fucking behind you."

Kaminari laughed, only to stop when Bakugou glared at him. "You're not much better; you fucking jitter whenever you have the same colour as the pile."
