Math was simple. He had a teacher named Mr. Craft. In class, he took a lot of notes and got the privilege of sitting right next to Hadley. Sadly, he didn't finish the homework because he was too busy talking to Hadley about hockey and his life back in Canada.

When drama rolled around, he got to meet his teacher, Mrs. Nancy. They started the class with a number of vocal exercises, as well as the entire class introducing themselves to him. However, he was happy to see Sierra in the class with him, having a good time.

Since it was towards the beginning of the year, Mrs. Nancy explained how there was going to be a fall musical, and that the decision for the production was going to be set in stone. Ramin's eyes shined as he found out it was going to be Phantom of the Opera.

That was his dream show ever since he saw it in seventh grade. His school decided to go one day. He wanted a day off of school, so he went. He instantly fell in love, and ditched his hockey playing. He wasn't that good anyway.

Ramin saw Sierra jump with joy in her chair as she heard the news as well. They both exchanged glances and gave a thumbs up. They knew they were both going to try out. When they both looked over at Hadley, he was half asleep in his chair, slowly leaning backwards, looking as if he were about to fall with the slightest tap.

After the announcements, they took notes from their notebooks about the basics of acting, and the audition process. Ramin wasn't aware of the different steps he had to take in order to audition for a production. He was determined to audition for a role if it was the last thing he'd do.

Reading through, he learned that he needed a good resume, a head shot, a piece prepared, a monologue, and a clean cut outfit. He took minutes thinking about what he wanted to do. Ramin thought he could ask Sierra for some help on a resume and head shot. When it came to a music piece, he thought "Edelweiss" would be a good choice. The outfit would be easy to pick out, and the monologue would be simple to look up.

Soon enough, the bell rang, and Sierra and Ramin exited the building to student parking where Sierra parked her car. When they got close to the car, they heard loud footsteps running towards them, "...nadian boooOOOOOOYYYY!!" It was Hadley who ran right in front of Ramin, panting like a dog who ran three miles in a large field.

"Oh hey Hadley." Ramin responded, taking a few steps away from the panting boy, "Is there something I can help you with?"

Hadley responded while putting a strong hand on Ramin's shoulder, "Well yes, Canadian Boy, it seems someone forgot about the little competition we have to do today."

Ramin's eyes opened wide in shock as he thought he was so stupid for letting that slip, "I guess I forgot for a second." He responded, helping his friend stand up straight, "And can you please stop calling me Canadian Boy?" The dark haired boy asked politely.

Sierra started to giggle softly at their bickering, and the boys turned to look at her, "What do you think is so funny, redhead?" Hadley asked when noticing that Sierra was there.

Laughing even more, Sierra responded, "I just think it's so cute, how you two sound like old friends." And Hadley and Ramin looked at each other and gave a small shrug.

"I guess it's because I'm in love with the Canadian Boy  and I just want him to share the love that I have for him." Hadley said seductively as he slipped an arm behind Ramin's neck, and pulled him close to him.

Ramin and Sierra shared shocked glances as they were both confused as to what was going on at that very second, when the sounds of running could be heard from the distance. Hadley quickly pulled away from Ramin as he saw who it was, Rosalie.

She gave a confused expression when she made her way to the group of friends, "Would anyone like to explain what I just saw?" She asked as she folded her arms like a mom would.

Hadley looked as if he had no shame, "I was just joking with you Canadian Boy, right?" Hadley laughed as he gently punched Ramin's shoulder.

Responding to the punch, Ramin laughed along and smiled, "Right." He took a small pause before speaking again, "For the contest. Should Sierra and Rosalie judge?" He asked, looking at his friends.

"I've always wanted to judge a singing contest!" Sierra responded, eyes glittering, "Let's go right now!"

Hadley and Rosalie agreed and said they were going to meet over at Ramin's house, and got into Hadley's car. Ramin and Sierra got into Sierra's car to lead the way to the house. As the car ride went on, "Phantom of the Opera" came on the showtimes radio that Sierra always listened to. I'm an instant, Sierra and Ramin both reached for the volume adjuster, and their hands touched.

They made eye contact and laughed softly until Ramin aggressively told Sierra to watch the road when she was about to run into a tree. When they finally got back on the road from the almost tragic tree accident, Ramin and Sierra sang along to the song as the Phantom and Christine when they pulled into the neighborhood.

"Sing for me!!" Ramin yelled as he brought his arm up dramatically like that Phantom would as if he was bringing up the intensity of Sierra's high notes.

Sierra held out the high note at the end of the song, and they made it to Ramin's house. Getting out of the car, Ramin quickly realized that his brother was home, and was defiantly going to bother them.

As if he was summoned, Sherman came out and laughed at his little brother, "What're you doing with your girlfriend of yours? Or are you gay, and that other boy is your boyfriend? Either way, I bet it's stupid."

"Hey, be quiet!" Hadley shrieked as Sherman got close to Hadley's face. Sherman got the picture and left quickly. Once he left, they set up a table and a couple of  chairs for the girls and the show was about to start.
