Those next few days were nerve racking for the three friends, worried that they won't get a part in the Musical. Ramin, especially, was anxious due to him going against Hadley in callbacks. However, the day had finally come where the cast list was going to be posted online. Their director had a Twitter page where she posted the list.
The tweet went as followed, "Thank you to everyone who auditioned for our school musical "Phantom of the Opera". I'm happy to share our cast list with you all.
Christine: Sierra Boggess
Phantom: Ramin Karimloo
Raoul: Hadley Fraser"
The list continued on, but the three of them only had to read the first three cast members. Shock flew through them all as they jumped up and down in excitement.
Ramin, the most shocked out of all of them, gave a wide smile. He thought he wasn't going to be in it at all after callbacks, but callbacks doesn't always mean you get a part or you don't.
Sierra smiled, "Well friends, we all got the main roles in the show!" She cheered and they all applauded with her, "This is so exciting!"
The three of them went to a fast food joint near Ramin and Sierra's house and ordered a lot of food to take home. They all pigged out in Ramin's living room and watched a lot of musical movies.
Later that evening, they all crashed on his couch while watching "The Sound Of Music." That Musical was long and excruciatingly tiring to watch that late at night.
By morning, Sierra was the first to wake up. She made breakfast for the boys and Ramin's family. She whipped up some pancakes and eggs and placed it on the table, leaving extras on the stove for Ramin's parents and brother. When Hadley and Ramin smelt the food, they woke up in unison and saw her at the dining room table. They walked over and sat down, starting to eat.
"Woah! This is super good!" Hadley sang while taking large bites of his pancakes.
Ramin took bites of both the pancakes and eggs and smiled, "These are delicious!"
Sierra beamed and looked proud of herself, "I'm glad you like it. I mean, you both will be playing the men in my life who fight over loving me, I had to make you both food."
Hadley laughed, "Well I'll be fighting for your cooking skills and an endless supply of these pancakes." He took another large bite of the circular cakes, "Yup, sorry Ramin, you're going down."
Ramin laughed, "That's a fight I refuse to loose. Considering this a fight to the death." He said jokingly, pouring a bunch of maple syrup on his pancakes.
"Oh! Look! The Canadian boy is putting Canadian maple syrup on his pancakes. How stereotypical of him!" Hadley said when Ramin poured syrup on his cakes.
He rolled his eyes in response to Hadley and took a bite, "Hardly anything like Canada's maple syrup." He said, "This has a very processed taste to it."
Hadley laughed and drenched his pancakes with it, "Just how I like it." He cheered, finishing off his hot cakes.
Ramin laughed at Hadley and his statement and took another bite of his pancakes, "You'd change your mind if you ever had pure Canadian maple syrup."
Hadley finished off his eggs and Sierra placed a bowl full of fruit on the table, "You boys should eat some healthy food too, Okay?" She smiles and picked out some grapes and snacked on them, "These are so good!"
The boy's eyes looked at the bowl and they both shook their heads in unison and continued to eat the food on their plates.
Later that day, Sierra and Hadley went back to their homes and Ramin was left alone at home. He sat down on his couch, still excited from hearing the news from the Musical.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. He thought it was Sierra, so he rushed to the door. When he saw who was on the other side, his jaw dropped, "Mandy?" He said shakily, "What're you doing here?"
Mandy, wearing a tank top and some jeans was at his door. She brushed some pieces of her dark long hair behind her ear and smiled, "Hey Ramin. It's been a while since I've seen you. May I come in?"
Ramin gulped and stepped out of the way so Mandy could walk in. His excitement quickly turned into fear. He knew his feelings for Mandy slipped away and that he now liked Sierra.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, them both sitting on the couch together.
She smiled, playing with the leather bracelet that used to belong to Ramin on her wrist, "To Be with you, Of course." She leaned her head on Ramin's shoulder, closing her eyes.
Ramin looked at Mandy and sighed, "Mandy, I had to go. I know you're upset, but what you're doing is a little.. creepy. We aren't a thing anymore. We both had to get over it. I did." He snapped and her head came up and she looked at him.
Her eyes glared at Ramin, "But we loved each other, we had something together. Something really special, Ramin." She argued back.
He shook his head in response, "But we fought a lot. You have to go back, Mandy."
She stood up and her eyes turned into a mix of anger and sadness, "Is there someone else?"
Ramin tried to avoid eye contact and gulped, thinking of Sierra. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. He got up and answered it, Sierra, Hadley, and Rosaline were on the other side, smiling.
The group of friends looked at Mandy and they all locked shocked, "Who's this? Is our Phantom getting a little busy with the ladies?" Hadley asked, walking in.
Ramin looked at both his friends and Mandy. Stressed, he ran his hand through his hair and sighed, "This is my ex gir-"
Mandy suddenly interrupted him, "Your girlfriend, Ramin." She corrected, looking at Sierra, giving her a glare when Sierra furrowed her eyebrows.
The room was tense. No one wanted to say anything. The room was left in silence.
