You woke up that morning with a groan. When you remembered the events of the previous night, you sigh. You look to the array of various books on your desk. Benten gave you a questioning look. You remark, "Not now, Benten. I don't have the energy to go through one of your lectures right now." Benten exhales, "I haven't even spoken yet you assume I will do so." Your thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. Hachi said, "You should probably get that."  You roll your eyes and open the door. You were greeted by a curious Bastion Misawa.

Moments later, you were walking with the Ra intellect. Bastion didn't know if he should speak first. He was deeply fascinated with you. You sigh, "Take a picture...it'll last longer." Bastion realizes how long he was staring and begins to blush. You shake your head, "I'm going to pretend that never happened." Bastion suddenly spoke up, "So...how long have you been practicing archery for?" You raise your eyebrows in surprise. You finally answer, "I've been practicing since I was a child. I don't understand why you're so interested in me." You add, "You're the complete opposite of my brother." Those words surprised Bastion. Before he could reply, he noticed that you had walked ahead of him.

Fujin wore a look of confusion when you told him what happened. You shake your head, "Why is he trying so hard? It's not going to get him anywhere." It was Izanagi who interjected, "Never say never, aijin. You will never know what will happen if you keep pushing these obstacles away. They'll always be there to block the path you wish to achieve."  You reply, "You sound like Benten, Nagi." You add, "Let's just get to class before I get lectured about being late." 

Ten minutes later, you had made it to class on time. It seemed like no one was there yet. This was strange considering the fact it was usually full when you come inside. You look around and shake your head. You think to yourself, "Something isn't right here."  You hear the sound of heavy breathing behind you. You come face to face with a short-statured bluenette wearing an Obelisk uniform. He blinks, "Wait a sec, who are you?" You groan and rub your temples, "You're one of that Slifer's friends, aren't you?" He said, "Slifer? Oh! You mean Jaden! Wait, how do you know Jay?" You repeat your actions before replying, "He's friends with my idiot brother, Jesse." The bluenette's eyes widen, "Wait a sec....YOU'RE JESSE'S SISTER?!" You cover your ears, "Will you quit yelling?" He sheepishly smiles, "Sorry...I'm Syrus." You reply curtly, "Y/N." Syrus jumped, which caught you off guard. Syrus said, "Oh yeah! Classes are cancelled today for some reason." You groan, "What a waste...." Syrus watched you leave. Syrus said to himself, "Woah...she's the complete opposite of Jesse."

Meanwhile, the sudden cancellation of classes had made Jesse suspicious. His eyes dart to an old photo on his desk. He picks it up before hearing the sound of someone knocking. He was greeted by a panicked Syrus Truesdale. Jesse attempts to calm the younger Truesdale in response to his panicked demeanour. Jesse said, "Sy, calm down. Breathe slowly and then speak." Syrus nods and does what he is told. Syrus speaks slowly, "Jesse, I think someone is trying to hurt your sister." Jesse froze and motions him to continue. Syrus goes on, "I may be overthinking it but....she seems like she's holding on to something she shouldn't." Jesse became puzzled, "What do ya mean?" Syrus replies with uncertainty, "I always hear her muttering under her breath about some woman named Yuko..." Jesse thinks, "Where have I heard that name before?" Jesse's eyes enlarge, "Sy, that's the name of my sister's first adoptive mother...."

Elsewhere, you were suspecting that someone connected to Yuko was at the academy. Benten and Izanami noticed your bitter expression. Benten questions, "Why are you so bitter all of a sudden?"   You reply, "I can sense one of Yuko's pupils here." Izanami replies, "You were in their shoes once, you know."  You let out a sound of disgust, "I was only here pupil for a few years before she vanished."
