Chapter 12: Making a Promise

Hey guys! I know that I haven't been updating very often, it's just that I was busy:( I promise that I'll update more through July and August😋

[Jessie's POV]

I looked around to see if Cam was done yet and luckily he was more concerned with the lady at the desk. I got up and walked to the window straight ahead from my seat.

I opened the window to see no one there...strange.

"Boo!"

"Oh my god what the fuck is wrong with you!" I screamed at...Jack? (who seemed to be the mystery person).

"I saw the police take Mackenzie, so I followed the police cars... Which isn't very hard by the way. I saw you were in the hospital so I waited till you were out of Cameron's sight and got your attention. You got my girlfriend arrested, so i plan on getting back at you and Cameron" he told me with a smirk at the end.

"We'll now that your here I can call Cameron and make him call the police on you!" I said trying to grab his arms.

"I wouldn't try that if I were you" he said in a sing-song voice.

"And why not mister I'm so tough" I said in the same tone.

He grabbed my arm and twisted it so I couldn't grab him. I could feel the blood trying to come out of my cuts. I tried to release bit it was no use he was still too strong for me.

"LET GO THAT HURTS" I screamed trying the release from his strong grasp once again.

"I will, once you promise to not mention me ever to anyone! Cause I will be everywhere and if I find you mentioning me I will not hesitate to kill you for good!" I nodded telling him that I understood and with that he let go and ran off.

I was about to say something when someone spoke behind me, "Jessie are you okay?"

I jumped at the surprise, but turned around to find Cam with a worried look on his face. His hands were in fists and I could tell he was a little impatient from all that's going on.

"Umm..ya I'm fine. Can we go now?"I asked leaving where I was by the opened window. I closed it and waited for Cam to answer.

My arm was still in pain but I didn't want to tell Cam cause I knew he would get suspicious.

He simply nodded and I followed him out of the hospital doors.

"Are you sure your ok you look worried about something?" He asked me as I took my seat in the limo. How did it even get here? Oh wait I forgot that it had a driver hahaha. It must be the drugs that they gave me for the pain.

"Hello Jess are you okay?"Cam asked me waving a hand in front of me. I was still a little lost in my thoughts but answered Cam's question with a nod.

The ride was silent with a few questions that the police officers asked me about what Mackenzie did to me. They said that they would look into her account to see who the partner could be. I kept my promise to Jake and lied to the police by simply saying 'I don't remember much after I blacked out' and with that they left me alone.

When we arrived at the hotel Cam called Nash telling him to bring the rest of the guys down to have dinner with us. We waited, but all that I could think about we're two people 1. Matt and 2. Jake. The thought of kissing Matthew was storming through my head over and over again. I was still amazed at how much of a spark we had.

On the other hand the thoughts of Jake's words were haunting me over and over again. Cause I will be everywhere and if I find you mentioning me I will not hesitate to kill you for good! The fact that he said that he will not hesitate to kill me really scared me.

Now I really have to watch what I say cause Jake could be anywhere and I'm the only one who knows the real side of him.

I wonder how this night will end up?

[Cameron's POV]

I grabbed Jess and brought her to the restaurant we went to the same day that we got here.

"Do I have to go I really am tired" Jessie whined when I clearly dragged her here.

"The doctor said that you need to eat and also everyone was worried about you and want to make sure that your safe" I told her knowing that she wouldn't want to hurt everyone's feelings.

I can already tell that Nash and Matt have feelings for Jess so I have to make sure that she avoids them. Cause I already know that they will do their best flirting on her and she doesn't know these boys like I do.

It's not that the guys are bad, it's just that if they break Jessie's heart in the end then I will have no choice but to keep her and me away from all of them, which may lead to the end of friendships.

I'm just trying to make sure that a horrible ending doesn't happen.
