[Jessie's POV]"Jessie! Jessie!" a well known female voice screams from downstairs. I rush out of my room not bothering to finish unpacking.
I squeal loudly, making both my dad and Cam cover their ears.
"Emma!" I squeal again. I'm just too happy to stop. This was honestly the only good thing about coming back. If I could've, I probably would have brought her along or stuffed her in my suitcase, but being caught by surprise didn't give my brain time to think much on the topic.
"Jessie!" she squeals back and pulls my into her tanned arms. She's gotten a lot stronger since the last time I saw her.
"Oh my gosh, I have so much to tell you!" she starts ranting on and on about how much I've missed in school. From fights to drama.
"Seems like everything's the same" I sigh, sounding a but off. Emma raises an eyebrow and my sorrow mood. Don't get me wrong I'm completely ecstatic that I got to see my best friend, but there's also the fact that Matt isn't here to be happy with me. I guess he sort of grew on me. I mean we're not even dating!
"Hey, what's wrong?" she asks concerned. She was and still is always gonna be there for me.
"I guess I have a lot to tell you too" I whisper almost inaudible. She leans in closer and sits down next to me on the bed. We were now in the safe haven of my room.
I let out a sigh and close my eyes for a brief moment, collecting my thoughts.
"What is it? You can tell me anything" she says truthfully and places a soothing hand on my shoulder.
"I know..." I sigh and open my eye to look at her still concerned eyes.
"I met someone" I start off. Her eyes widen in a knowing way.
"I knew it!" she screams grinning like a mad woman, but then her eyebrows furrow in confusion. "Then why are you upset?" she asks. I let another sigh escape my lips. I've gotten into the habit of sighing by now.
"Well...the thing is...Cam took me away from him" I say sadly, Emma letting out a gasp. Cam was never one to do these sorts of things, but then again I never did have a boyfriend before. Sure a couple crushes, but that really all.
Wait!
Did I just call Matt my boyfriend?
Gosh I guess I miss him more than I thought.
Who would have thought I'd fall so hard for a guy?
Looking at Emma's confused face I then proceeded in telling her the whole story. From when we got onto the plane and my meeting Luke, Nash flirting with me and then realizing I was his best friends sister, even Matt's 'prince charming' act coming into my room when Nash kissed me the same day. When I look back I realized my life has really gone downhill from when I first arrived to the sunny land of Los Angelos. Well not complexly downhill, I did meet Matt after all and met all the guys. Who I would call my friends by now.
"Wow" she breathed. Her emotions flashed from confusion to anger in seconds. I waited for her delayed reaction.
"Nash is a real asshole" she say calmly, but I can tell she's gonna blow any minute.
"Yeah I know" I roll my eyes thinking back to when Cameron didn't believe me.
"He can't just go around kissing YOU, then say that you were the one to make the first move! I mean who in their flipping mind does that! He's a real ass....no scratch that motherfucker that can burn in the pits of hell! And don't even get me started on-" she starts to rant on and on about how I should have punched him and Cameron in the face. Blah blah blah.
