To make sure things run smoothly, we need rules of course! We will be checking to make sure you have followed them before we can accept your entry. Everyone must follow the general rules, and the rules of what you're entering to be whether it is a participant, or judge.
Please read them carefully;
General Rules
1. You must follow this awards account (theleopardawards), weasleyqueen- -and infinitemonster16 - this helps with updates about the awards, and show some love for your hosts 💕
2. Add this book to your reading list - This is also for very important updates!
3. Inform us right away through pm if you change your username - If we can't find you we may have to find a new judge/remove you from the awards so please make sure to tell us if you do!
4. Please be respectful to all of the hosts, judges, and contestants - This is supposed to be fun! You will be disqualified if we see otherwise
Participant Rules
1. You need a minimum of 5 chapters written (not including cast list or author notes) - this helps our judges to get a good feel for the story and see the character development
2. English stories only - The only exception to this is if you're entering in our Poetry/Short Story category as one of the judges can understand the Filipino language.
3. Mature and LGBTQ+ books are accepted! But NO topics that violate Wattpads guidelines.
4. You can enter up to three books but all must be in different genres - This is to give more people an equal chance to win in the different categories.
5. Add #TLAParticipant2018 to your book description - This is to help the hosts, and judges to know they're judging the right one.
6. NO BRIBING THE JUDGES WHATSOEVER.
7. Password - On your entry form comment your favourite animal so we know you've read the rules.
Judge rules:
1. Must be okay with reading mature and LGBTQ+ - You may have books that fall under those categories in your genre.
2. Don't let personal feelings get in the way - As then it would be unfair to the people who don't know you, and ones who you disagree with.
3. Can be a participant but not in the category you're judging in - I think the reason for this is quite obvious.
4. Optional to add the hashtag #TLAJudge to you're account bio.
5. You must be able to judge 10 entries when the time for judging comes.
6. Report to us if someone tries to bribe you.
7. Password - On your application use the password of your favorite color! This is to ensure you read the rules.
