Hello everyone!

In this chapter, you can find what you'll be judged on if you made it to the second round. This criteria will be more in depth than the last one. Also for previous and new judges to reapply. Some judges can't judge again so this will let us see who can commit time to judging again, and open an opportunity for others to judge too!

Anything that isn't a form for being a judge, please comment in the questions chapter. There will a bit of time for you all to edit your books accordingly to the criteria, and for the judges to submit their applications. We'll publish a new chapter for when the second round begins. Thank you!

Judging criteria:

REMEMBER: YOU CAN USE A NUMBER THAT ISN'T LISTED IF YOU FEEL IT IS INBETWEEN TWO. (So don't only give 10, 8, 5, or 0 as you judge.)

Tenses: Does it keep switching, or does it stick with the same one?
10- Can't find any faults at all!
8- Only occasionally do they make a mistake and switch to the other tense.
5- Switches about every paragraph.
3- Switches every sentence.
0- Do they know they're supposed to keep using the same one?

Character opinions: Does it make you form strong opinions about the characters?
10- I know much about each of the characters, enough to feel a certain way about them!
8- I know a lot about a few characters but not all.
5- I only know about the main character and have no idea how to feel about the others.
0- Aren't characters supposed to have feelings?

Planned out:
10- I always felt like the author knew where they were going with the story. I couldn't find any plot holes!
8- There was a solid plot but I don't think the author knew what was going to happen. There were occasional times that the ends of chapters weren't tied up in the next one.
5- There was a plot but the author left many loose ends and plot holes.
0- I'm not sure there was a plot at all.

Book fits title and description:
10- I could definitely see why they made the cover they did, and the book went perfectly with what was said in the description!
8- The cover was amazing and went well with the description! Got a little lost how the description went with the story.
5- The story and description just barely makes sense together. Have no idea what's going on with the cover.
0- There wasn't a good title, or an understandable description. Please tell me if this is in English!

Book title:
5- Lovely! Flows very well when I say it and it totally makes sense with the book!
3- It's alright! Creative, but could relate more to the book, or be shortened.
0- There wasn't a title. (Don't think this is possible)

Follows:
5- Follows weasleyqueen-  infinitemonster16  and the awards account!
4- Only follows the admins.
3- Only follows the awards account and one admin.
2- Only follows the awards account.
1- Only follows one admin.
0- Doesn't follow any of them.

POETRY:
Tenses: Does it keep switching, or does it stick with the same one?
10- Can't find any faults at all!
8- Only occasionally do they make a mistake and switch to the other tense.
5- Switches about every paragraph.
3- Switches every sentence.
0- Do they know they're supposed to keep using the same one?

Sentence flow:
10- Each one sounds so beautiful and all of them go so well with each other even if it doesn't rhyme.
8- Nice flow to the sentences, but has abrupt endings in most of them.
5- Choppy sentences, but understandable.
0- There's literally a period after each word.

Themed: Is each poem a focused poem?
10- All of the different poems are centered around a specific thing. They don't start by talking about love, and end with dancing ponies at a pub.
8- I could tell what the theme was, but there were a couple off topic sentences.
5- I couldn't tell what the theme was at all.
0- It was basically a seemingly book of ideas, and not a poem.

Book title:

0- Doesn't follow any of them.

And that's it! I believe it comes in with a smashing total of 50! The next part is more for the judges:)
