I stood at my locker as I opened it up to see a bouquet of flowers and a tiny card on it as I smiled and opened it and read it.

I turned to see him standing there Brandon Arreaga, my crush the finest guy in school. Well In my opinion I smiled looking at him not knowing what to possibly say.

"Hey–um this might sound weird but I've seen you around school and I can't help but to want to know you better, you are so beautiful and I swear if you just give me one chance I can give you one of the best night of your life"He said with a cute nervous smile as he fixed his glasses

"When?"I said smiling while feeling my cheeks heat up as I lightly played with my ponytail to slightly cool my nerves

"Tomorrow night dinner at 8?"He said with a grin

"I'll see you then, I'll give you my address at lunch"I said with a smile before walking off as I could hear him mini celebrating behind me

–Next day: 7:00pm–

I smiled as I started to get ready dressed as I finished up my hair as I checked the time as I seen it was 7:40 as I smiled at myself in the mirror and went down and sat on the couch waiting.

8:20pm

I waited as I called Brandon only to have him not pick up as I sighed hung up before texting him.

Where are you!? :(

I sighed as I sat up on the couch resting my feet as I sighed and started watching some tv to past the time. Hopefully he'll be here, he couldn't have stood me up. Could he?

9:08pm

I yawned lightly as I looked out the window seeing no sign of of him as I called probably for the 5th time as I once again got no answer.

I can't believe you stood me up.

I texted as I threw my phone on the couch going upstairs as I was getting ready to change out of my clothes.

10:48pm

I sat on the couch bundled up watching Netflix slight glum but it was nothing Netflix and Food couldn't fix.

11:12pm

I was asleep on the couch from the rain that poured as I heard knocks on the door as I got up thinking who could be here right now.

I had the bat next to the door as I opened it to see a soaked brandon with soaked flowers

"I can explain."He said

"Brandon come in you're going to get sick"I said and pulled him in as he stood on the welcome mat as I took off his soaked jacket and shirt to see his toned body as I paid no attention to it luckily

I ran into the hallway closet and grabbed out a towel and went up to my to my room and grabbed out a big shirt and sweatpants and boxers as I came back down handing them to him.

"Go shower then come back and explain"I said

"Who's are these?"He asked as I walked him to the bathroom

"Mine, I like wearing guys things to sleep it's comfortable"I said as he nodded and went into the bathroom

As he showers I get his soaked clothes and wash them for him as he comes out and sits on the couch next to me.

"Explain"I said lightly

"Well first off I'm so sorry, I was on my way here at 7:40 then that's when my phone died and I didn't have my charger. I was on the highway on my way here as my car broke down"He said as I felt sorry for him

"That was about 8:00 and then I had to walk the rest of the way here cause no one would pick me up and plus no one would let me use their phone. I probably turned this into one of the worst nights you've ever had you probably don't wanna see me again huh?"He said lightly chuckling

I felt sorry for him as I pulled him into a tight hug as he hugged me back.

"It's not your fault and of course I want to see you again, I've really liked you for a long time Brandon. I have an idea why don't we have our date right here"I said with a smile

"A indoor movie date, sounds good to me"He said smiling

We watched 'Black Panther' as in the middle of the movie I felt staring as I looked over to see Brandon smiling at me.

"What?"I asked with a smile

"Just something on your lips"He said

"What?"I asked lightly touching them

"My lips"He said and lightly pulled me close to him as our lips moved in sync as the sparks went off. Or it was just lighting
