09. Rejection

-Brandon-

I remember standing at my locker with my friends that day. Laughing and Joking, I remember seeing her walk over looking nervous as my friends and I quietly chuckled.

"H-Hi Brandon"She said

"Um hey?"I said as my friends chuckled

"I um, the dance is coming up soon so would you want to go with me?"She asked

That's when they all busted out laughing as I foolishly laughed myself as it seemed her confidence and courage fell entirely

"Why would I go with you?! You're as ugly as a toad"I said through my laughter as my friends laughter got louder as more people joined in laughing all around us

I seen the tears start to swell up in her eyes as she pushed through the crowd walking off

–Now–

I watched her body move as she danced on stage as she sang her part in the song as she danced and followed the beats.

I watched her as beautiful as ever the girl of my dreams was the girl that I rejected being stupid and young.

"If I pulled you closer would you mind, would you mind!!"She sung out loud with us as the crowd went wild

They loved her and so did I, I couldn't even get her to look at me.
