James and Riley: LOVE IN A HEARTBREAK

Chapter 9

RILEYS P.O.V.

I went into the bathroom upstairs and changed into the bathing suit. It fit me fine but it hardly covered me! I felt naked because of how it was made. It tied on either sides of the bottom and the top tied too. James couldn't see me like this! It didn't cover my butt or my chest. I agreed to go downstairs though. I walked downstairs and met James in the living room where he was standing in blue swim trunks. I was a hot pink mess.

"Woah." He said.

My hands were covering my chest.

"It's extravagant." I said shrugging and taking my hands away.

"It'll do." He said, not being bothered by it, which I liked.

We walked out to the pool. His backyard was heaven. Plus, it was hot out. He did a back flip in, while I walked down the pool stairs, shivering.

"You cold?" He asked swimming over.

"No," I lied.

He went underwater and pulled my feet out from under me. I splattered into the water laughing. We both came up wet and soaked.

"James!" I splashed.

He took my hips and swam me into the deeper end. Our hips were touching. He pulled my hair back with his hands and I giggled like a little girl which was hilarious for me to even hear myself. He kissed me on the cheek and I pulled him in to me because my toes couldn't touch the bottom anymore.

"You don't know how to swim?" He asked surprised.

"I do. I just got scared." I laughed as he pulled me into his chest. I pulled him under playfully. We were just swimming underwater making faces at search other. Then we dove off the diving board seeing who could make the bigger splash. I cannon balled in and I felt something go loose. I swam up to hear James laughing. I looked down at myself and realized my top fell off while doing my jump. I quickly turned away embarrassed. "Sooorry Riley." He joked and then jumped in. " I'll get it." He said diving under. I was laughing too. He dove under and grabbed my top which was sunk to the bottom of the pool. He came up in front of me.

"Here," he said.

He put the top on me and then tied the strings that went around my neck.

"Is that good?" He asked. I managed to get a "yes" through my laughing.

I then felt like getting out of the pool. And we were out of energy from our laughing attack. We got out and got dressed. This time, he gave me Luke's girlfriend's dress because his mind was set on going to a club. It was 9:45 when I looked at the clock. It wasn't too late so I agreed to go to the Mander's Club with him. He also agreed to stay sober for the drive back to his place.
