James and Riley: LOVE IN A HEARTBREAK

Chapter 15

RILEYS P.O.V.

Me and James got off the stage smiling as big as we could. I jumped up on him and hugged him. He have me a kiss on the cheek and then hugged me back.

Michele came over.

"That was so good. I watched from the other side. You two looked absolutely perfect. Congratulations!" She said and gave both of us a hug. She waved and was heading back to the dressing room.

IT WAS THE RESULTS OF THE DUET.

JAMES P.O.V.

I looked into the audience and saw my Mom. She was smiling so big and looked so happy. The speakers came on. "Duet results!" Shouted the man in the speaker. The crowd quieted down. Riley squeezed my hand. She was biting her lip and looked so nervous. I put my arm around her.

"In fourth place we have Mark and Amber!" the announcer said.

A woman came up and gave them a medal. First place got a trophy and $60,000 to go towards the studio.

"Third place goes to...J-"

My heart dropped. Is it James? They're gonna say James. Aren't they? Yeah I just knew it. We were gonna come in third and let everyone down...

"Joseph and Carly! Congrats!" He said. Riley took a deep breath and sighed. She looked up at me and smiled.

"WE MIGHT HAVE NOT EVEN PLACED" I was thinking.

RILEYS P.O.V.

I squeezed James hand and he held me close.

"Second place goes to Maria and Stephen!" The announcer said. I started tearing up. James kissed me on the cheek. WE MIGHT COME IN FIRST.

There were 2 more couples on the stage.

"Finally, first place. The $60,000 winner goes to RILEY AND JAMES!"

JAMES P.O.V.

Riley dropped to the floor and the crowd cheered. We could even still win the group dance! A woman came up and handed us a cheque and a trophy. Riley was crying years of joy. I kissed her on the cheek again and gave her a hug. "I love you." I whispered in her ear. "I love you too" she said quietly.

3 weeks later.

I was sitting on Riley's bed while she was in the washroom. She came back and sat on my lap. She kissed me on the lips. I kissed her back. She got off and lay on her bed. I sighed. I lay beside her and she turned to look at me and smiled. I kissed her softly on the forehead and she sat up and lied on top of me. I loved her so much. More than Beth. More than anybody.

8 years later.

Me and Riley had bought our own little condo together. She came in running after her day of work (she taught young kids dance) and sat on my lap. I gave her a kiss. "I have to tell you something baby." She said. She laid me down on the couch and laid on top of me. "I was feeling so horrible today." She said. I kissed her again. She giggled.

"Ok, ok, listen hun," she said.

"I am."

"I decided to take a pregnancy test because...yeah."

I gasped.

"I have a wittle baby in my tummy." She said.

I pulled her off of me. We stood up. I kissed her and pulled her in close. I pulled away and put my hand on her stomach.

"That's so amazing." I said making out with her again. I picked her up and brought her to our bed.
