It's been a year after Andrea recovered, everything when back to normal, people franically running around, and Miranda being her ice queen self once again. She was reading a newspaper.

"The next state attorney, Diane Lockhart" The headline in all bold and capitalized. She was in shock Diane being the next state attorney, she never imagined it, and once again everything came back to her, their friendship, the days they would lay in the fields and talk about their dreams, and the worst part her leaving Miranda alone, betrayed her for her other best friend, which left her heartbroken, but she used her pain to get back again, she dropped out of school, worked as a assitant for rising fashion designer, studied French at night and got a job at French runway as a junior fashion editor, changed her name from Miriam to Miranda . After years of hardwork she was transfered to American Runway and became the fashion editor of Runway. She found herself smiling at her achievements, and then suddenly a knock on her glass door disturbed her, she signaled Andrea to enter
"What is it Andrea" Miranda sternly said
"Miranda, the board wants us to interview Diane Lockhart" Andrea said, Miranda felt her world falling apart, interviewing Diane was not something she expected
"Miranda are you okay" Andrea asked
"Yes, and I read Lockhart still isn't a state attorney" Miranda said and returning to her usual self
"Yes, but they want to interview her because she is the first woman state attorney and they want us to feature a woman who will change politics forever. " Andrea said, she allowed Andrea to leave her office
She sitted there in silent, thinking if she can do it, allowing one of her past to brought up again.

"Don't mix up personal matter with your work, whatever happened in the past just let go and move on" She thought to herself.

"Pinky swear" A 11-year old Miriam Princhek asked, and reaching out her pinky to Diane

"Hey Miriam, I am so sorry but I don't want to be friends with you" Diane told Miranda
"What" Miranda bluntly said she felt her world falling apart
"We cannot be friends anymore, this is no more sparks, I have a new bestfriend who really loves me and accepts me" Diane said
"I accepted who you truly are, I am there when you need me and I was there to comfort you then you will just leave me" Miranda said tears threating to fall

"I am so sorry, Miriam" Diane said while walking away from Miranda

There Miranda stood, tears falling from her eyes, she was so heartbroken, she wanted to scream, but she realized

"Just let her go and move on besides she isn't coming back"

After that, she became strong headed, had high grades and dropped out of highschool and worked to achieve her dreams.

She decided, she called Emily
"Emily call Lockhart's office for the interview for the magazine" She ordered, emily dialed Diane's office

"Hello" The other line said
"Is this Ms. Diane Lockhart" Emily asked
"Yes, this is her" Diane sternly said
"I am Emily from Runway, we want to interview you" Emily said
"Ohh, what for" Diane asked Cautiously
"Woman empower, because we want a new issue that represents strong women especially the women in politics, since you are going to be the first female state attorney, " Emily explained to Diane
"I'll think about it" Diane said
"I will give you our number, when you finally decided"
"Okay" Diane said and she wrote emily's number on her notebook
"Thank you , Miss Lockhart" Emily said
"The pleasure is all mine" Diane said and hung up

"What I am going to do, will I accept it"
"Maybe that's a good idea so I can inspire women to stand up and to tell my platform while I am in office" Diane thought
"But wait, Miriam is the editor in chief of Runway" Diane thought
"It's okay Diane, it's been years it's your fault why your friendship with Miriam ended"
"I can do it, this is a simple interview"
She finally decided

She opened her notebook and called Emily
"Hello, Emily I will do the interview" Diane said
