"In T minus Five.... Four.... Three.... Two.... One... We have lift off. Good luck out there." I heard the rocket fly out into the sky, ripping through the atmosphere. I closed my eyes, a smile creeping across my freckled face. I heard the excited and anxious voices of my teammates.

"The galaxy is undiscovered," Alexander says. "Do you think we'll get to name it?"

He looks over at me but I was too busy feeling the power and momentum of the powerful space craft. I was on the rocket with Alexander, Violet, Christopher, Amelia, and Stuart. Alexander had been my best friend since senior year in high school and we both majored in astrophysics.

Violet is a sour patch kid. She was super sour when I first met her but now that I've got to know her, she's become a little more opened and nice.

Christopher is more of a bold leader than a friend. He was actually voted to be team leader back at NASA.

Amelia.... I honestly don't know how she made it here. She's such a child and is always breaking something. One of the reasons why it took us way longer to build this shuttle is because Amelia kept breaking circuit boards.

Now Stuart is the best friend a chick could ask for. Stuart has been my closet friend since kindergarten. I love him for his kindness and bravery. But he mostly just come on this mission because of me.

Then me on the other hand, I'm Clementine. I'm an average astronaut with a curly ginger Pixy cut and lots of freckles. I have crystal blue eyes and short nails. I'm a nail biter.

I feel a chill travel up my spine as Stuart, on the other side of me, pokes me in the side of the neck. My eyes flutter open as I see every object that wasn't strapped down was floating around the shuttle. Alexander's glasses floated off his face. Stuart's shoulder length hair was off his shoulders like it was a feather. I felt my feet struggling to stay on the ground of the shuttle. Amelia giggled, her retainer and saliva floating around.

"Eww!"
Violet screeched, pulling her silky black hair back, tying it back into a ponytail.

"Oh my God, Amelia. Put that back in your mouth..."
Alexander gagged, a drop of saliva on his nose and in his cocoa brown hair.

"We don't need puke in the air, too!" Stuart covered his shoulder length jet black hair, his bangs a shade of bright blue, "I don't feel like having that in this perfection for weeks."

Stuart does his best impression of Violet though it was kind of difficult for him because of his thick British accent. Stuart got transferred from the UK when he was four. Stuart can actually sing really well. He once won the simi-finalls on America's got talent in sixth grade.

Of course he still sings and plays keyboard even though he's an astronaut and a single father. If I had to date anyone on this shuttle, it would of course be Stuart.

Stuart unbuckled his seatbelt and watched himself leave his seat. I smiled up at him and kept in my seat. Amelia reached back into the back, her golden blonde hair floating around a bit as she grabbed her retainer.

Alexander relaxed, wiping the saliva off his nose and avoiding the damp spot on his orange NASA jumpsuit.

" 'Ello there, luv!"
Stuart smiled at me, hovering over me and knowing it would embarrass me.

I look down, my cheeks heating up. Stuart and Alexander laughed about it, giving each other high fives. I unbuckled and pushed off my seat, causing me to crash into Stuart and send us flying around the shuttle.

Christopher glanced back at us, a smug grin on his face as he turned the gravity on. Stuart and I fell to the floor, causing me to become pinned underneath him. I heard Violet whistle.
"You two need to get a room!"

She laughed as I wiggled under Stuart. Christopher turned the gravity off again and I struggled to get back to my seat. Everyone laughed at me as we passed by Mars and I questioned my existence at that moment.

Stuart put his large hands on my shoulders.
"You're so easy to embarrass"

He chuckled and flew back into the living quarters of the ship. I couldn't wait for this day to be over. This was going to be the worst three months of my life.
