"Alexander, your so stupid..." Christopher grumbled as he put a bandage over a scrape on Alexander's face. "How am I stupid?" He asked, running a finger over the band-aid. "Amelia's Stupid arse went over there too it right after she saw me get thrown!!" The brunette hopped off the stool of which he sat. "Well, Amelia is an immature imbecile who acts as if she we- SPEAK ENGLISH, CHRISTOPHER!!" Alexander yelled. Christopher huffed, his blood pressure raising. Though, instead of hitting the poor sod, Christopher cleared his throat, took a breath and answered with, "Amelia is a childishness bafoon." Alexander brushed his rich brown bangs from his eyes. "Okay, black eye, scraped cheek, and a busted lip. Heh, your lucky Alexander." Christopher chuckled. "Wait a tick, how is that sodding— y-you know what, nevermind..." Stuart rolled his eyes and leaned against a support beam. "Lemme finish that," Alexander spoke up. "How is Amelia more hurt than me?" Christopher kept his cool but, we all know Christopher has a short fuse. I nodded to Stuart as I entered the containment center we live in. "Move it slow poke." Violent commanded as she strutted through the decontamination station, pushing me out the way. Violet was short. And I mean, SHORT. I'm 5'7, Stuart is 6'2, Christopher is 6'4, Amelia is 4'9, Alexander is 5'6, and Violet is 4'1. I told you. Short. We keep telling Violet that she couldn't kiss Christopher unless he was on his knees. That's a 2'3 difference! "Hey Clem?" Amelia looked over at me. "Hm? Y-Yeah?" I looked at her. "Have you ever been together?" She looked at Stuart and back at me to indicate what she meant. "O-Oh!" I looked down, my face flushed with red. Alright!!" Stuart laughed nervously. "Real fun! But uh, Oh! H-Hey Clem? Wanna go take a walk?.." I looked at the Brit. "Well... Not really far..." I shrugged. Stuart grabbed my wrist and led me out of the center. "We're going star gazing..." He led me a little ways from camp, onto a rock formation. It was a tall, pink and orange mix. It was 10 feet up. We sat in silence for a moment.
"Look...." Stuart broke the silence but not his eye contact with the deep indigo sky. "I know that.... Well.... I-I know that you know I like you...." Stuart scooted to the edge of the rock formation and let his legs dangle off the side. "Well....." He glanced at me. "I-I wanted to know i-if you liked me back?..." My heart melted. "Aw... St-Stu..." I smiled a warm and sweet smile. "I thought... I thought I was the only one..." I heard Stuart chuckle softly. "How about... How about you come sit next to me... It be a lot warmer, luv.." The Brit looked back at the sky. It was pretty cold out. Forty eight degrees. "Oh! Uh, y-yeah!" I chuckled, my face warming up a bit. I walked over to the edge and sat near Stuart, perhaps a bjt too close. I felt my foot bump his shin as I dangled my feet off the edge of the rock. I saw Stuart look over at me with those beautiful navy blue eyes of his. He put his arm around my shoulders and it startled me at first. I soon gave in to it, leaning my head on his shoulder. I watched as a blue comet streaked across the dark sky. "Your a dork." I told Stuart as I felt him lean his head onto mine. "I know." We sat for almost an hour, watching comets streak across the sky and pointing out constellations. "Hey!!" I heard a voice echo. "You two love birds coming back inside?!" It was Alexander. It startled me since I was almost asleep. "C'mon, love." Stuart stood, helping me to my feet. I watched him jump from the edge of the formation and call out, "Oh he's gonna do the super hero landing!" He landed like a super hero. Stuart looked up at me with that dorky grin of his. "Super hero landing!" I laughed at him. "Your a geeky doofus!!" He held his arms out. "Jump, Clem!! I-I'll catch you!!" My legs started shaking. "I-Is that really good idea?!" Stuart huffed. "Do I look like a liar?! Just jump!" I thought for a moment. And when I say that, I mean like one of those long, awkward, video game moments when you stare at the person your talking to until you know what to say. "O-Okay!" I took a breath. "Alright Clementine...." I eased to the edge. "No guts..." As I said that, I lost my footing, falling uncontrollably. "No glory!!!" Stuart tried to catch me, but it ended up with us doing a barrel roll down a hill and landing at a few feet from camp.
I coughed. Dust was all over me. "Ngh... Stuart? You okay?" I asked and looked down at him. We both gasped, our faces inches away. And I mean not like half way from each other, I mean like, I could feel the soft hairs on Stuart's top lip. I started to lean down to close the space but before I did, Alexander ran up to us. "Are you guys okay?!" Alexander pulled me up. I brushed the dust from my suit. "Yeah I'm fine." I pulled Stuart to his feet."Let's get back huh?" Alexander laughed. "Don't want that Oo'kaan thing coming for us."Author's note: Why are they so cute?! 💜 ~Tadam_McRuffrey~
