"Well, how many do you think there are?" Alexander asked. We were going in search of those Oo'kaan things. "I 'ope there's only one o' th' bloody things.." Stuart grumbled. "Calm your ass, bro!" Alexander punched Stuart's shoulder. Stuart grunts with the impact of Alexander's punch, cocking his first back in a threatening way, just to let the brunette know who he's messing with. "Hey!!" Alexander yelps in a cowardly fashion. "Yea, that's wha' I thought..." Stuart crossed his arms. His accent seemed thicker than usual. "Y-You know, uh, we could pick up some plant and water samples for later, eh?" I nudged Stuart lightly. "Or we can pick up some of those weird bug things on the rocks." Violet points over to a dark purple beetle on a rock, the same kind of rock where Stuart and I watched shooting stars. "Ew! Weird!" Amelia screeched. "Shut it!" Violet whined. "Can you guys go five minutes without fighting?!" Christopher yelled. His deep voice echoed through the canyon we were about to pass through. "Oo'kaan senses anger." A voice echoed back. "Charge!" Needles shot out of the darkness. I fell to the ground and everyone else at least got one needle. Amelia got two. "Stay out of Oo'kaan's territory." Stuart touched the injection of where the needle was. "Dose anyone else feel tha' burning senation in they' needle 'ole?" The group (except for me) nodded. "It may be poison.. let's head back, platoon!" Christopher pointed a few miles back, right where camp was. We groaned, walking with Christopher. "Quick complaining!," Christopher demanded. "Your not the one with a single leg here!!" I walked silently along side Stuart until we got to camp. The day was dragging along slowly and I'm running out of space to write this in my journal. Bye!
