Running. That's all I can think. No, that's all I will think. If I choose to think the alternative, never mind, but running is the best option. What would happen if they caught me? Oh goodness, please don't let them catch me.
Suddenly, I feel something hard, and cold. I feel waves of pain roll over my body. I can taste blood and dirt. I must have fallen on the blacktop. I can tell I'm bleeding and my knees are definitely scraped. My head pounds and I feel dizzy. I push myself up, ignoring my head that's pulsating with pain. I grit my teeth and hold back tears as I wipe the rocks in my hand away.
I have to run. I have to run. I have to....
Black suburbans surround me. They all have metal cages on the backs of them. They drive. Closing in around me. There must be seven of them. Or six? I can't tell. I feel like a trapped animal, yet strangely I feel exposed and vulnerable. The cars come to a halt.
I see a boy my age step out from one of the cars. Yet he's strangely familiar.
"Where are you going my love?"He smirked.
Hey!! This is a little prologue so you could get a feel for the story. This is the first book that i will be posting on wattpad or anywhere for that matter. Please do not copy this or print this and call it our own. It's not cool. I hope you like this story as it progresses. Thnx!!
