"What? She obviously was not." A confused Maven retorted.
"Really... I a-" I started.
"She's fine!" Jax squeezed me closer.
What is his deal? He doesn't own me! What's his problem?!
"Let go of her!"
"No!"
"Jax you possessive asshole let go!"
"Come over here and make me!" Jax snarled and held me closer to him.
"I'm ok." I whisper to him.
Jax just made a sound that was a mix between a whimper and a growl.
"It's ok....."
"Leave her alone Jax."
"Not a chance."
I struggled a bit but Jax just tightened his grip. It wasn't painful, just uncomfortable.
"Jax please, I'm fine." I tried to reason but I seriously doubt it will work.
He just brushed past my statements. "Stop struggling." He said this firmly but I could tell there was something bothering him. He was glaring at Maven who was, angrily, returning the glare.
I've never seen Maven so mad before, or mad at all to be precise. I don't like it.
Jax began to back up, me still in his grasp. We backed up until we were in our room and he slammed the door.
"What was that?!" I practically screamed in his face.
"I-"
"If you for on second think that you own me or I belong to you, so help me I will mess you up buddy!" I was ranting and he was just staring at me blankly. I don't know why but this just made me even more furious.
"What is your problem?! Say something you- you- jerk!"
He kind of smirked. "Jerk? That the best you got princess?"
I was steaming. "Are you kidding me?"
"Not in the slightest."
By now I am sure I was red. You could probably compare me to a tomato.
"You have some serious nerve!"
"Nerve? Uh uh. Courage? Oh ya." He smirked again.
"Hell no you did not just say that you were courageous!"
Does he even hear himself? He is a complete idiot.
"I believe I did." He responded then headed back to his bed and laid down. He was completely casual like he totally not just grab me and pull me away against my will.
"Now if you will excuse me, princess, your screaming is not ideal if I want to sleep, so please, keep it down." With that he rolled over and fell asleep.
I stood there, utterly dumbstruck for a good minute before going to sleep myself.
He has some nerve.
