Hey guys! I am so sorry for my sudden break. I left for New York for a week but our plane got cancelled and we had to stay longer. Then I got caught up in some stuff but I am back now and you can expect plenty of chapter's coming out! :) Enjoy! *Disappears* -Kitten
"S-stay?" I asked, coming back to earth. I realized that they were thinking I was here to stay, or a homeless riff-raff.
Marcy looked confused. "Yes. Stay. You need a place right?"
I thought. I did but how can I stay here with Jax giving me stares? My instinct won out though. But before I could reply, Lyan responded exasperatingly "You know about the tunnels, so we can't let you out of our sight."
Everyone went quite and stared at him. Marcy gave him a sharp look before turning to me.
"Don't listen to him."I shrunk.
"Ya, ok." .....These people are crazy.....
Marcy sighed. "You'll stay in Jax's room. He has more space and we'll give you a tour tomorrow, for now, it's late so goodnight."
Maven looked like a hurt dog and looked like he was going to argue but the looked down.
"Night huns." Marcy said, making a shooing gesture. "Now get outta my room."
Luna giggled and Lyan smiled.
Marcy flopped onto her bed and Luna climbed the ladder and laid down.
I followed the boys out. I was startled. Instead of the warm comforting room, I had stepped into a cold, metal hallway with spherical walls and the screws and bolts showing.
I felt a hand on my arm. I turned to scream but saw Maven to my relief.
"Are you sure?" He asked, searchingly.
I was confused "Sure?"
"That he didn't hurt you?" Oh he's concerned.
"Yes. I'm sure." I replied reassuringly. He looked relieved. But the worry crawled back into his face.
"Are you okay with staying in his room?"
Oh god. My stomach fluttered and my heart stopped. His room. I'll be sleeping in HIS room. Shit.....
"Ya, it's fine." I squeaked out.
That didn't convince Maven much, but then again, he can't do anything anyway.
"Ok.."
It was then I noticed his hand had slid into mine without me knowing. I wasn't the only one who noticed either.
I looked down the hallway and saw Jax's face looking back at me, his purple eyes full of flame.
Sorry about the short chapter but my brain just decided that this is the perfect place to stop. I might continue writing tonight though so be ready if a random chapter comes out at 2:00 am. (; Big thanks to Mattpatfangirl and CookieGurl24 for the ship name Jalyn! Feel free to comment your ideas and spectacles for this chapter. Ttyl! *Is just plain gone* -Kitten
