Chapter 14

(A couple of weeks later)
MELA'S Pov:

I was heading out since the twins were so much bigger now we decided to leave them with a babysitter while I started my business and Josh works somewhere else. My family always came to see the excerpt for dad he was still angry at me but mom wanted me to see my brother. I was heading to my boutique and opened es when a whole bunch of people just came in running to ask for some dresses. Then afterwords I headed home to make lunch and wait till Josh came back home. Once he got home we ate and then aunt Rydel came over to tell me something important.

Rydel "I think it's time for you to know that your grandparents aren't dead"

Mela "What???!"

Rydel "Your dad never wanted you to know that once Courtney left dad kicked your dad out because he felt ashamed about what had happen"

Mela "And he did the same with me how come you guys never told me"

Rydel "Our mom still kept in touch with Ross till we took our career further but she tried to get in touch with him because our dad wanted to finally ask for forgiveness and get to know you"

Mela "So im done with this JOSH TAKE CARE OF THE KIDS!!!!!"

Mela just grabbed her keys from the counter and then drove to her dad's house and just opened it and found her dad in the fancy living room with some some artist.

Ross "What are you doing here Mela"

Mela "Like father like son"

Ross "What is that suppose to mean"

Mela "My grandparents are alive and made everybody else lie to me"

Ross "That is not true who told you that lie"

Mela "No one told me a lie and you know is true because I went through your room to hide when I was little and found the letters"

Ross "But did you ever see the date of it"

Mela "No but you know it's true and now your doing the same thing that grandpa did to you"

Ross "Let me explain everything to you and of course I want to see my grandchildren I was about to go today to as-

Mela "No don't even say it dad you hurt me I never had a father figure growing up and now he kicks me out of his house im done"

Ross "Mela please don't do this"

Mela "I will come once in a while to see my siblings"

Ross "You can stay"

Mela "Now you say it but No!!!!"

Mela left the room and then ran to her car an drove home angry at what had happen to her and reflected on everything that had happen to her. When she got home it was already night time and she just went to kiss the kids and then headed to bed to where Josh was already asleep. Mela just got ready for bed and cried then started to cry in the restroom and Josh came in running in to see her on the floor crying.

Josh "Hey why are you crying"

Mela "My dad finally gave up on me"

Josh "Don't say that he loves you so much"

Mela "He just proved everything that I had been afraid would happen"

Josh "It's going to be fixed im pretty sure"

Mela "Ok and by the way if you get me pregnant before the children are 3 years old you are dead"

Josh "I will take care of you"

Mela "You better"

Josh "Come on let's go to bed"

Mela "Ok"

Josh just carried me to bed and I snuggled into his chest he just wrapped his arms around my waist. The next day I woke up to see that Josh was still asleep and then saw it was Saturday so he didn't have to work. Afterwords I was about to go see the children when there was a knock at the door. When I went to get the door when I opened up I realized that it was my dad and mom was behind him. I let them in and then we go to the living room where Josh comes out and then takes mom to go see the twins while im just left with dad.

Ross "I'm sorry Mela"

Mela "Well I don't forgive you at"

Ross "Come ok you are the only daughter I have and even if I have one with Laura you will always be so special to me"

Mela "No you didn't even continue the r tradition with me"

Ross "I didn't get to name you"

Mela "You were there weren't you"

Ross "We lies ok just to make it seem that I was there but really I left town for a week that was the week you where born so Riker steeped up and helped Courtney"

Mela "Wait why weren't you there"

Ross "I was trying to get some business done to make sure I get to kept you and Courtney could not do anything"

Mela "So everybody else was thee except you and uncle Ryland"

Ross "Yes and how you know he was with me"

Mela "You tell him everything like you do to me but somethings are just weird to tell your daughter so you tell him"

Ross "But I would have named you Riley after someone that was important to us"

Mela "But you never ever told me about that and why did you hide me from the fame for so long it was so frustrating when I was raised by a nanny"

Ross "Sorry about that but I wanted you to try to live the most normal live I could give you but I did terrible on that"

Mela "Yeah I always though that you didn't love me enough till I understood but even then I would have handled it because I would have growled up with it"

Ross "I'm sorry but have you announced your kids"

Mela "Don't change the subject and no not until their 1 year old me and Josh agreed on that"

Ross "Well you almost got discovered but then you got so caught up and trying get higher grades that the teachers were not helping a lot since they though you were my daughter"

Mela "I remember that but I feel like im missing something"

Ross "You were kidnapped at the age of 2 years old and I missed out in 2 years of your live"

Mela "Why did it take you so long to find me"

Ross "Because they had sold you all the way to Europe to teach to become a servant and I didn't know till we got closer to finding you"

Mela "That's what the dreams were about now I get it all"

Ross "Yeah w-

Mela "No don't even say anything else just leave now!!!!!!!!!!"
