Chapter 7

(2 months later)

ROSS'S Pov:
It had been 2 months since my daughter had been taken away from me the police haven't found one single clue. I was depressed that I was barely doing any concerts with the band but at least they understood. Laura has been helping me by looking in the streets putting up posters everywhere. I was losing hope everyday that I didn't find something to get closer to her. I was at the park where she had gone missing when there was this paper by a tree that said to call it and it had a picture of Mela. I instantly called it and this man answers it and I was hoping this would lead to something.

Person "You have finally seen my paper"

Ross "Why did you take my daughter"

Person "I need you do something for me"

Ross "What do you want"

Person "To tell the police that you give up"

Ross "Never"

Person "Then you will never see your daughter again"
*Ross's phone was connected to Riker's phone so he could listen Incase it was important and he could rush to the police and they could track Mela down"

Ross "Why did you take my daughter"

Person "To get something from her"

Ross "What would that be"

Person "For her to lose her dignity to go crazy and make you have to quit being famous"

Ross "Don't hurt her"
*you could here some sirens in the background*

Person "You called the police who's with you"

Ross "Nobody"

Person "This is what you get for disobeying my rules"
*hear gunshots in the background*

Ross "No what did you do to her"

Person "You should not have disobeyed me now you lost someone dearest to you"

Narrator's Pov:
After the person shot Mela by her heart the police found where she was and caught the person. The person was called Al and Mela was rushed to the hospital where then Ross and his family where called. Once they told him what had happen and that she was in critical condition and there was no hope she would make it. Ross broke down crying and everybody was trying to comfort him but it was no use. Once the doctors said it was fine for him so see his daughter he went in to the room to see Mela plugged up to a lot of wires and have a tube down her throat to be able to breath also her body looked lifeless all the color was drained from her. The doctors explain that because of her starvation and dehydration there is less hope she will make it through but they managed to remove the bullet in time.

(A couple of weeks later)
Mela had been recovering greatly but just had not woken up she was back to normal and regained all her energy back. Ross was in her hospital room with Laura which where trying to see if she would wake up. Then Laura steeped out to go buy some food and Ross was talking to Mela even do she would not respond.

Ross "Mela why won't you wake up I really want you to help me figure out an way to ask Laura to marry me for you can live out your life as a 18 year old now I wished you would had a better birthday and Lia has came everyday just that every time she sees you she breaks down crying she really wishes that you would wake up Rydel really wants you to meet your cousin when ever she or he is born"
*Ross felt a slit squeeze in his hand*

Mela "Da- d—dy"

Ross "Mela your awake"

Mela "Daddy"

Ross "Yes it's me"
*pushes the nurse bottom*

Once the nurse had seen that Mela was awake she rushed to get a doctor once the doctor came in she checked Mela's vitals.

Dr. Smith "Ok your vitals look good but you will have to stay at least 3 days to see how you are doing and progressing"

Mela "Ok then"

MELA'S Pov:

Once the doctor had left I hugged my dad really tight then he called the family about how I was awake and Lia also.

Mela "Hey dad I heard what you said you want to get engaged with Laura"

Ross "Only if you are ok with it"

Mela "It's ok with me just as longest you don't forget your first child"

Ross "Ok but I do need help of how to ask her"

Mela "Rent our a beach house that has its little private beach that has the perfect view and you can see the sand before you take her out on the balcony write it on the sand and get down on one knee when she is not looking have a rose for her in your other hand or you can write it in rose petals either way is romantic and unique"

Ross "Your the best but I will do it once you are out of the hospital ok and able to do more things on you own"

Mela "Ok dad but where is Laura"

Ross "She went to go get food"

Mela "Oh ok then"

Laura came in and saw that I was already awake so she put the food down and came over to hug me apparently she was also worried about me. I can't wait to be able to call her mom she will be so surprised by it that she would not have expected. I may still have many doughs but I know that my dad is truly happy with Laura.
