Trying to live a normal life

Chapter 24

Mela's Pov:

Once we went inside I went to see what Josh was doing so I could talk to him before talking to Courtney.

Josh "Hey what's wrong"

Mela "I wanted to talk to you"

Josh "About what"

Mela "Well I don't want to go alone to talk to my mom"

Josh "Ok I'll come with you"

Mela "When are we going to go back home"

Josh "Until you are all better since you need help with the twins"

Mela "Fine"

Josh "Are you trying to get out of seeing your family"

Mela "No I just need some time to process everything"

Josh "Well at least they told you all the truth now"

Mela "I know but I'm scared of what is going to happen now that I know all of it will they push me further away or will they be in my lives"

Josh "Are you going to meet your siblings"

Mela "I really don't think I'm ready to do that yet I can't even walk completely on my own"

Josh "I know but you have been doing great right now"

Mela "Yeah ok lets go and talk to them now"

We headed to the living room after I was able to have sometime to think of what I'm going to say to Courtney.

Mela "Hey guys"

Rydel "Hey so what did you talk about with your uncle Riker"

Mela "About something I needed to know before I talked to all of you all"

Ross "So go talk to your mom she won't get out of the bathroom we had to call her husband"

Mela "Ok then"

I then headed to the bathroom and hear that there is a guy trying to calm down Courtney I just decided to step in.

Mela "Hey can I talk to her"

Guy "Yeah I'll be in the living room if you need me"

Court "Ok then"

Mela "Hey so I can't believe I'm actually meeting my mom"

Court "I know is a lot to take in but I really want you to be in your life now"

Mela "Why did you never even come into my life before"

Court "Your dad and me have been keeping in contact incase of emergencies but I didn't want you to see that I gave you up so easily"

Mela "If you would have told me earlier that you were my mother I would have asked you so much"

Court "Why"

Mela "I could never talk to dad about certain things but if you were here I would have been able to know how to deal with things"

Court "I feel so bad but there is never a day I go without thinking that my daughter has grown up to be a very successful designer"

Mela "Really you are proud of me"

Court "Yes I even own some of the clothes of your clothing line they are so amazing I love them"

Mela "That means a lot coming from you since I have always wanted to talk to you you were never there to talk about girl stuff I went to aunt Rydel but never felt the same"

Court "Well I'm sorry I had to put you through that I never meant that I always had thought that they could help you but apparently there is somethings I should have been there for you"

Mela "Yeah since it would have helped and I would like to meet my siblings"

Court "Are you sure you are ready to meet them"

Mela "Yeah can't wait to meet them how old are they"

Court "The oldest is Parker which he is 12 years and has always wanted an older sibling"

Mela "Cool who is next"

Court "Next is Kevin he is 10 and then Angela which she is 5 years old"

Mela "Cute now who is the last one"

Court "Then last one is Kayla she is barely 1 year old I think that you will learn to love them"

Mela "Look I want to meet them but it's going to take me a while to get used to that I have siblings I even have trouble accepting Roger since I was always the only child"

Court "Well I hope you can one day get to call me mom since I have not heard you say that in so long"

Mela "Well right now Laura is my mom but we'll see as the time goes"

Court "When are you planning to get married"

Mela "I really don't remember but I know I want it to be sooner than the date we wanted"

Court "Well I will be here if you need any help since I really want to be in your life from now on I'm not going to back out anymore"
(Mela hugs Court)

Mela "Thank you this means so much to me since I really needed you maybe there will be something that you can help me and get to experience"

Court "It is and you have grown up to be such a wonderful person your dad raised you better than what I would have done"

Mela "I'm just glad I get to have you in my life now"

We then headed back out to the living room where my uncles and aunt started to tell my grandparents and Court about my childhood. Dad even told them a couple of stories some of them were so embarrassing since I never wanted to remember them. I hated it that Josh was listening to all this stories of me when I was a little kid. We then decided to have a huge family dinner so I could get to know my grandparents a little bit more. Meeting them has really gave me so many answers that I never even knew I need to know. Once the food was ready we all sat down to eat and we enjoyed the company. It's been a while since we had done this because of  everything that has been going. Now what we are all together I know that this family will only just grow more and more.
