Chapter 18

~4 months later~

Ross' Pov:
We have not been able to get Mela back we ended up given them a fake crown but they said that they killed Mela. We don't believe that and we had to keep to keep what happen from Rydel since she almost lost the baby. Once Courtney tried to talk to her family they weren't able to do anything since her cousin had gone off the grid for some reason. Even her aunt we have even tried getting the media involved but that had lead us to nothing.

Mela's Pov:
Its has been a while and they have been trying to get me to become a servant and I just follow their rules so they won't beat me up. They are going to finally let me go to back to L.A. to other person but I'm going to be sold. They died my hair black at first but now it looks dark brown which I hate so much. Here is the thing I can remember who is my family and name but with listening to them has really made me forget about what my life was. They make us drink this pills before we start our day and luckily before I forgot everything I wrote the things I could barely remember. The girl that I share a room with her name is Daniela and has been here longer than I have. She has been trying to escape but gets caught every time. So before the guy gets to take me back I decided to escape and Daniela is coming with me. We are escaping tonight we have been making a plan for 3 months now it's time to take action and I'm glad for it. Once the night arrived I knocked out the person that always locks us in our rooms. Then we ran down the hallways to the upstairs room and jumped out a window then made a run for it. We made it to a store where they tried to catch us to we ran into the woods that were near and then we herd a gun shoot. I then looked at my arm and saw that the bullet barely had scrapped me so we started to run again. Then I had to stop because I was starting to feel weak and dizzy I couldn't keep up.

Daniela "Hey come on"

Mela "I can't I feel to weak"
*looks at arms*

Daniela " Heck your arm is bleeding really badly"

Mela "What do we do we have to keep on going" *Daniela breaks some of her and ties it around Mela's arm*

Daniela "There now lets go just grab onto my hand so I don't lose you"

Mela "Ok"

We kept on running till we finally reached a town and we ran to the nearest store but Daniela almost got ran over. I luckily pushed her away in time but caused me to fall and then she helped me up. Then the person in the car stopped to help us and told us he would take us to the hospital. We got to the hospital where I was taken to emergency surgery and Daniela was talking to police before I knocked out.

Ross's Pov:
I'm current at home playing with my son Roger when I hear my phone go off in the kitchen but I decided to let Laura get it.

Ross "Can you please answer that honey!!"

Laura "Yeah!!"

I continue playing with Roger and then Laura comes running into the room and hands me the phone.

Laura "They want to talk to you it's something important"
*Ross grabs phone*

(Phone call)
Ross "Hello"

Person "Yes is this Mr. Ross Lynch"

Ross "Yes who am I speaking with"

Person "Look I'm officer Dan and you need to come to Florida because we think we may have found your daughter"

Ross "I'll be on the flight there"

Officer "Great then sir I will have someone escort you here once you land so you can get here quickly"
(End of call)

Laura "What was it about"

Ross "They found Mela but she is all the way to Florida so let's get everybody and see if Rocky will let us use his private plane"

Laura "Ok let's go you call them while I get Roger's stuff"

I called Rocky first and he said it was fine and would meet us there then I called the rest also my parents and Courtney. When we arrived at the airport everybody got on the plane quick so we could stop in Colorado to pick up our parents. Once we picked them up we made our wash to Florida I was getting really impatient that everybody tried to talk to me but I wouldn't budge. We finally arrived and we were then rushed to the hospital where I quickly ran to the desk.

Ross "I'm here to see my daughter Melanie Lynch"

Nurse "Are you related to her?"

Ross "Yes I'm her father"

Nurse "Ok well you are going to have to wait she is in surgery at the moment and the doctor will speak to you once the surgery is done"

Ross "Ok thank you"

I walked back to my family and told them we had to wait till Mela got out of surgery and the. I saw a women just staring at us.

Ry "Why does she keep looking over here?"

Ross "No idea"
*then women starts walking over*

Women "Hi I'm Daniela are you Melanie's dad"

Ross "Yes I am why do you ask"

Daniela "Well I was in the same place she was we managed to escape but the police went to the house but it was empty"

Rydel "What they got away with it that's no fair why is Mela in surgery"

Daniela "We we're running away from the guys that were after us we made a quick stop and then hear a gun shoot then we saw that it had barely scraped Mela's arm well that's what we thought"

Ross "Why did you think??"

Daniela "It really cut her deeper than that and she started to get weak but we managed to get away and she saved me from getting ran over when we got to town"

Ross "Did she get hit by the car"

Daniela "No but the person stopped and helped us get to a hospital because Mela was really weak that she could barely keep up"

Rydel "See we all told you she is a tuff girl"

Doctor "Family of Melanie"
*Ross gets and goes walks to the doctor*

Ross "Yes"

Doctor "The surgery was a success but however there is something that we did notice is wrong with her"
