If there is anything I can do please tell me" begged Tide. Amberscale knew what she wanted but didn't know how to say it.
"Well .... you could......" Amberscale trailed off. Tide glanced up at the sky and with a shocked expression.
"Oh gotta go. I'll guess later"Tide said running off. Amberscale looked up at the sky too and realized it was sun high and ran off to tell Jaggedclaw.
"It's time" Amberscale bowed to Jaggedclaw.
"So it is" he said turning his attention to her. They started to call for the clan. As soon as the clan gathered Jaggedclaw spoke." I am sad to announce Fern and Razor have died as though Tide will take both places."

Amberscale was shocked and admiring this at the same time as Jaggedclaw spoke
"Tide's green scales show the blood of our medic and he shows the skill and technique of our deputy"she said staring at Tide , beckoning him to the pedestal they stood on."I trust you to your loyalty and skill", Jaggedclaw said smiling as he nodded and bowed "now we shall focus on hunting and repairs. 3/4 of Claw clan will hunt until the pile has gotten out of archaeopteryx meal sized and the rest of us will stay and repair the camp. We have a motion?" He said all ears
"A motion"yelled a velociraptor with yellow scales named Zinnia and was Amberscales mom
"Do we have a second?" Jaggedclaw asked
"A second " said Tide's mom, Star. She looked dappled with white scales that shone glittering in the sunlight.
"All in favor, roar" Jaggedclaw said as they all roared "All in oppose...." Jaggedclaw spoke as no one did anything "And should Amberscale and Tide both stay, go, or split up?
Murmurs arose from the whole clan. No one could say a thing.
"They should both stay to guard our camp while reconstruction!" Explained Raggedscale a clan elder who served the clan greatly. Yowls of agreement came with murmur. He hadn't spoken for the clan in a while.
"The clan has spoken" said Jaggedclaw "we will proceed now with the operation and thank you for your opinion Raggedscale" he bowed to Jaggedclaw as he spoke he waved his tail and dismissed the clan while Tide was still fidgeting
"Tide TIDE you T-Rex arm" yelled Amberscale as Tide jumped and smiled his "I love you" smile as he thought of that subject.
"I can't believe it " Tide said closely following Amberscale who headed for the gallimimus field "I am going to need you to tell me what to do and everything and what to give people for what wounds"
"Well okay" said Amberscale turning back through a crowd and heading for the the medical gardens. "Chew some leaf and stir it in a bowl add sap and you make a cover for the wound. Claw-berry for deep wounds and elasmosaurus skin for aches, cramps and bug bites"
"Great grapplers"said Tide with his head spinning with the newly given information as they entered the mixing cave that led to the sheltered gardens."You must know lots and more. I wish my mother could teach me these things" Tide had never had to be taught by his mom or even contacted his mom thoroughly .
"Well be prepared for the ultimate teachings of the great Amberscale " she joked as she opened the bark curtains to gardens, only to discover a injured deinonychus .
