And we're back. Here we go.
Fuu's POV:
"Fuu, what are you doing here?" Shibuki asked. "Your supposed to be hunting the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki."
"I know, but I needed to ask you something." Fuu reasoned.
"What is it?" Shibuki asked.
"Do you have a photo that I could use to help identify my target?"
"Oh. That would be helpful, wouldn't it? Hang on." Shibuki searched around before holding up a picture triumphantly. "Found it. Here you go Fuu. Good luck."
"Thank you." Fuu said, taking the photo. She then bowed, and turned and left the office.
<Timeskip>
Fuu had been running around for a couple of hours, then stopped to take a break. While she was resting, she took out the photo and studied it. Her face became shocked. In the photo, was a blonde, spiky-haired kid with blue eyes and a easy smile.
"This is the boy I met at the restaurant the other day. There is no way he is a ninja." Fuu sighed and put the photo away. She decided that she would rest before she continued.
After a couple of hours, Fuu awoke to hear strange noises in the distance. It almost sounded like someone was training. Fuu got up and followed the sound, curious as to who might be training all the way out here. She walked for a minute or two before she came across a vast clearing in the trees. She could only just barely see the tree line on the far side of it, and in the middle, was the blonde-haired kid from the restaurant, fighting what appeared to be a clone of himself.
Fuu sat down and watched as the boy continued through his exercises. She was still in shock that he was actually a ninja. He had to be, or he wouldn't be able to perform the several different kinds of jutsu that she had seen him perform.
There was the clone, or the several clones should she say. She also saw him perform several wind style jutsu that she couldn't identify, but what she did know, is that he was going to be a truly formidable enemy.
Fuu stood up and strode towards where the boy was resting, having stopped his training a little while ago.
"Are you what they say you are?" Fuu asked.
The boy leapt to his feet and turned, his eyes locking with her for a second before he bolted for the trees.
"Wait." Fuu called. "I just want to talk with you."
Fuu ran after him. Following him for about an hour as he twisted and turned through the trees.
Naruto's POV:
"She's good." Naruto thought to himself. "I will have to stop and fight her, as much as I don't want to." Naruto suddenly twisted and launched himself towards the ground, shouting "Shadow clone jutsu" as he fell. Using the resulting puff of smoke, he hid himself while his clone faced down the waterfall kunoichi.
She approached his clone slowly. "Hang on. I don't want to fight you. I just want to talk to you, please."
Naruto's clone seemed to have the same idea that he did. "Ok." It said. "What about?"
"Are you the nine-tails jinchuriki?" She asked.
Naruto bristled. If she knew that, then she would have to die, or he would have to run again, something he really didn't want to do. His clone charged her, dissolving as she punched it. Several others emerged from various points, surrounding her. The girl looked around before sighing. "If we must." she said.
