Chapter 17: Torment and Rescue

So now we are here in chapter 17. Let's begin. (note: after writing this I think I can say that this is probably the worst chapter I've written, however, it does contain some plot points so no blowing it off)

Fuu's POV:

Fuu hadn't actually been touched. Well at least not much. A nurse has come to her cell and had given her a full check up, for both her and the baby, then left again. But she didn't need to be tortured to feel terrified, because she could hear Sakura's screams as they echoed throughout the hallways. She had been waking up and falling asleep to them for the last two days and it was really starting to break her. She didn't want that to happen to her, and she didn't know what to do about it. She couldn't risk a fight with the baby, and she wasn't in her best shape right now either. Oh where was Naruto?

Naruto's POV:

"What are we waiting for? Lets go get them already!" Naruto Yelled.

"We can't just rush in. there is a whole village between us and them." Neji said. "We have to be smart about this. You yourself said that there are seals that prevent the use of charkha inside the prison. So we either need to be prepared to deal with those and not using jutsu, or we need to get rid of them somehow."

"Dang it Neji. Why do you have to be right?" Naruto thought to himself.

"Alright." Naruto said. Give me a moment, but I think I have a plan."

"Of course you do." Neji said.

"Ok everybody, here's the plan..."

Sakura's POV:

The first thing I saw when I woke up was Naruto's face, and that was followed instantly by Fuu knocking him out of the way.

"Sakura! Are you ok? Your gonna be ok right? Did they hurt you? Tell me..."

"Fuu, she can't tell you if you don't give her space." Naruto said as he gently grasped her shoulders and pulled her away from Sakura.

"Give her a moment." He said, watching as Sakura sat up and looked around.

"Where are we?" she asked.

"A few miles outside Takigakure." Neji said. "Lee, Tenten and the others are scouting to make sure that no one gets too close."

Sakura nodded then turned to look at Naruto. He was knealing over Fuu, who appeared to still be unconscious.

"How is she?"

"Just sleeping for now." Naruto replied. "She should wake up later."

"Oh good, that means that I don't need to spare you." Sakura growled at him.

"Wha..." Sakura's fist landed with a massive thud on Naruto's face and sent him flying off into the forest.

"Sakura, why did you punch me?" Naruto asked miserably. "It took me nearly an hour to find you all again after you punched me into oblivion back there." He rubbed his face where it was still bruised from Sakura's punch.

"Well Naruto, why do you think I punched you?" Sakura asked.

Naruto thought about this a minute. "Because you are mad at me?"

"Yes, but why am I mad?" Sakura replied.

"Um..." Naruto really stopped anf thought about it. "Because I wasn't paying attention again?"

"Closer, what weren't you paying attention to?"

"Um..." Naruto stopped and thought about it.

After a few minutes Sakura was now annoyed for a different reason.

"Naruto, i thought you were supposed to be smart now. Did all your brain cells leave once you found us again or something?"

"Now, hang on. I really struggle with the social side of things. I haven't needed to think about this before, so back off already Sakura, I know I'm a failure already."

Sakura was surprised into silence. "Well..." She thought, "that's an improvement."

"Naruto, we need to think about our next move." Neji interjected. "We can't stay at the safehouse now that the waterfall ninja know where it is. We need to consider our options before we head out."

Naruto nodded. "I know, I've been thinking about that, and I think I might have an idea, though its bad."

"Well let's hear it." Sakura said.

Naruto gave Sakura a surprised look.

"What, you said it yourself, your social awareness is horrible, but your strategic planning is second only to Shikamaru."

Naruto nodded. "In that case..."

"Naruto!!!" Kiba called out. "We need to go. Got lots of movement coming from the village."

Kiba, Lee, Tenten, Shino, and Hinata all landed in the tree that Naruto and the others were standing in.

"Ok guys. I hope you've had your fun, because its time to go home..."

HUH!?!?!?!?" Everyone echoed.

Ok, not my best chapter, but I honestly think that I was not going to be able to properly do an action scene, or torture scene, right now, as in I would write one and it would be crap. Not that this is much better, but still, the story continues, and I think you all know what comes next... Another chapter obviously. See you all in the next one. Until then... BYE!!!
