You woke up to find a licorice hair boy with teal eyes staring up at you. You woke up startled and asked, "Who are You?"( I said the book title... oh wait wrong book) "I'm varian," said the boy, "what's your name?" You we're in train of thought thinking of the question, then a man came through the door.
"I see you have woke up," said the man. "Where am I?" You questioned. "You're in old corona," he answered. The boy, varian behind the man was listening closely to the conversation. " varian, if you would please leave the room," said the man. "But... okay," said varian in defeat when the man gave him the look.
"Where did you come from?" Asked the man. You tried thinking back, "Umm.. well a cave?" You said unsure. "A cave?" Questioned the man. "Yes, a cave," you said. "Do you have parents?" Questioned the man. "Well... yes I think I had a mother," you said.
"We're off to a good start, you can stay here until we find your parents," said the man. You nodded your head agreeing with him. You turned the door knob to open the door, you swung the door open and all you heard was a wail.
You looked down to find varian slumped on the ground rubbing his face. "Sorry," You said apologizing. "Varian what did I say about listening to my conversations?" Said The man. "It's better to not know the unknown for there will be consequences and fear," said varian, repeating his exact words.
"This girl will be staying with us until we can find her parents," said the man, " might as will get to know each other. "Well you already know my name, what's yours," said varian. "Umm... well it's, Y/N," you said smiling.
