You were still sitting in the cave, wondering when your mother will return, listening to the drip-drop of rain like the rhythm of a drum. You felt a slight irritation on the back-side of your hand. Ignoring it, you tried to fall asleep. All of a sudden the was an agonizing pain. "Aahh," you yelped in pain. The pain was coming from your hand. A glowing blue line started to trace a perfect circle on your hand. You screeched, It felt like an animal or critter clawed at your hand.

After the whole process, it left behind a circle with three lines going down it, which looked like an animal strikes at it. The mark stopped glowing blue and left it behind with a dull black. You stared at it with amazement and curiosity. What is this? Is it magic? Does it come off? You thought curiously. You put your fragile cold hand out into the dripping rain, outside off the cave. The water didn't wash away the mark. Wait so its like a tatoo?! You thought. You used the other hand trying to wash away the mark. You rubbed and rubbed it as hard as you could.

Your skin started to become irritated and red. Where's mom? She promised she would come back! She promised...you thought questioning yourself. You waited in the same cave for days, with only a sack of food that your mother left you with, but it won't last forever. Watching as time goes by. Knowing that your mother might not return but you still had hope. Until ones day you ran out of supplies. Its been days, I need to find somewhere else to stay. Maybe she won't come back. You thought knowingly.

You grabbed whatever you had, which wasn't much, only an empty bag. You walked out of the cave making your way down a muddy path, a path that your mother told you to stay away from, a path with the presence of the unknown, a path to Corona.

Sorry guys but my chapters are short. They always seem longer when you're writing it. Hey, at least I'm updating everyday, so far.
