I watch him glaring at me through the mirror and I pretend not to notice, because I like the way he was looking at me. We arrive at the club in less than thirty minutes and the place was full off car and people, as soon as he find a parking spot he quickly open the door letting me out. All eyes were looking on me when I step out of the car.
"Josh you are welcome to come inside if you want" I find myself saying which cause him to look surprise.
He nodd and I walk off with him behind me, as we step in the club it looks so amazing and decorate beautiful with a lot of people that I hardly know. As I step in the light all eyes land on me and I feel someone pull up behind me holding my waist and kissing my cheeks.
"Welcome to your birthday party Mrs Martinez, you like it?" Carlos voice whisper in my ears.
"I love it baby thank you so much" I said turning around and kissing him.
I notice Josh was gone and I scan around looking for him but I couldn't see any sign of him. Carlos then pull me to the stage where the musicians were and take the Mike.
"Hello everybody, thank you all for coming out and celebrating my lovely wife birthday" he said pulling me by my waist close to him. " I want you all to help me sing her a birthday song" he continue.
They all cheers then start singing:

They all clap and cheer after and I feel so special and happy, Carlos give me a deep kiss before we get down from the stage and the selector play (you are my rock by Beyonce) and Carlos and I dance wrapping in each other arms and kissing. My mind start to wonder where Josh could have been, suddenly we stop dance and the song change and everyone get back to dancing, eating and drinking. Carlos left to go talk to a friend then Jade and Tay walk up to me and hugging me tight.
"Happy birthday princess" Jade said smiling

"Thank you for being here guys" I said hugging them again.
"We left your present on the table where the rest are" Jade said
"Let's dance" Tay said pulling Jade on I on the dance floor.
We dance together, talking and laughing and I was enjoying my self. I walk over to the bar leaving Tay and Jade still dancing and order a drink of tequila and drink it down in one drink then order another one. I start looking for Carlos but he was no where downstairs, I walk upstairs to his office and push the open only to see in having discussion with some man. They all turn on look on me and quickly excuse them self leaving Carlos on I alone.
"Carlos its my birthday and you are suppose to be spending it with me not dealing with business" I said in anger " who are they?" I continue
" Latoya calm down OK we were just sorting out some unfinished business, I'll join you in an hour I need to run out for something " he said getting from his desk.
"Carlos your unbelievable why can't this stay for another day not on my birthday we are suppose to celebrate together" I shout at him.
"I throw you a f**king party, I got you that expensive dress and I just sing and f**king dancing with you what more do you want, I said I have something to sort out I'll be back in an hour". He yell at me " get back to your party and go enjoy yourself I will be back soon " he said and step out the door.
"I just want to spend the rest of my night with you" I whisper to myself as tears start to form in my eyes, what is so important that he can't spend time with me? He always have business to take care of and those man I never seen them before. I dry my tears and put myself together and walk back downstairs, everyone was enjoying themselves except me. Tay was dancing with a blonde guys while Jade was making out with a guy at the bar, I didn't want to put my burden on them so I walk out the door. I saw Josh leaning on the car and I walk over to him.
"Can you take me home please, am not feeling well" I lied and enter the car.
He close the door without questioning me and drive off in silence. He pull up in the drive way and he open the door letting me out, I walk towards the door searching for my Keys in my purse.
"Did he put business over you again?" I hear his voice said stepping close behind me.
Tears start running from my eyes as I remember how Carlos talk to me since night and just left me. "It's none of.... I trail of turning around bumping into him.
" I know its none of my business but he's on asshole to leave you alone on your special day" he said with anger.
I could feel his warm minty breath on my skin causing me to shiver, the smell of his expensive cologne got me weak and his sexy lips looks so tempting to kiss, I find myself leaning to kiss his lips. (Latoya your married you can't have an affair Carlos will kill you) I hear voice singing on my head and snap into my senses.
"I think we should go" I said pulling the door.
"Toya please don't end your birthday looking so sad, come on I have something for you" he said taking my hands.
I hesitate a little but I follow him to the guest house, he open the door and gesture me in side then follow behind and close the door. I sit on the sofa while he run up to his bedroom and return with small box.
" I got this for your birthday, happy birthday again toya " he said handing me the blue box.
I like the sound of the nickname he call me, I take the box and open it and gasp when I saw the beautiful gold necklace with my name on it. "Josh its beautiful, you didn't have to get me this" I said looking on the necklace.
"I want to give it to you, its you birthday and your a special woman" he said "let me put it on for you" he Said taking the necklace from my hands.
He pull my hair gentle and place it on one side then put the necklace around my neck, I tremble under his touch and the warm breath he let out on my skin. I turn around staring on him while he did the same, he lean in on kiss me passionately and pulling me close to him. I feel the sparks in my body with his lips on mine, I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him back. (Latoya Carlos will kill you both for that) the voice sing again in my head.
"We shouldn't be doing this, I think I should go" I said walking to the door.
He grab my wrist and pull me back, " I don't want you to go toya" he whisper and kissing my neck which cause me to get weak and want him more. " Josh stop" I whisper then let out a small moan, he continue kissing my neck and pull me close to him I could feel his hard core bushing against my leg.
