Chapter 25

"Hello wait up" I said tracing a lady dress in a white long dress and long brown hair, I can only see her from back because she running so fast. She turn down a narrow hallway and enter a room paint in white, she stop by the window and stare outside. I enter slowly through the door and stop a few inches away from her.

"Who are you? Why did you lead me here?" I ask

She turn around slowly staring at me with tears running down her cheeks, I start to cry when I saw who she was my mother. I run up to her and give her a tight hug.

"Mom I miss you and dad so much" I cried

" My child I miss you so much, I need you to listen to me you are in danger. Please take my granddaughter and yourself and run as far as you can." She said pulling away from me.

"Mom what danger am I in? Where must I go?" I said crying

" you must find your f......... She said fading away, I start to cry "mom please don't leave me" but she was long  gone.

"Mom come back" I scream, I find myself crying when I wake up. This dream feel so real and strange, what danger am I in and who should I find? She said I should take Cassie and run.

"Mom are you OK?" Cassie ask in a sleepy voice.

I look down on her and force a smile pushing away the tears, "I'm fine pumpkin lets get you ready for school" I said poking her cheeks playfully.

The dream of my mother keep flashing in my head and I can't make out anything she said. I walk in the bathroom to give Cassie a warm shower then get her dress for school, I made her some cereal before walking her to the car.

"Good morning Mr Josh" she said smiling

"Good morning Cassie" he response smiling.

She hop in the car and wave at me which I return, Josh keep staring on me and I ignore his stare and walk back in the house. I quickly take a shower and get dress to go to the store, I grab a key from the draw and walk  down to the garage which held three brand new cars. Carlos puts then away for emergency, I didn't want to drive with Josh so I drive out the silver SUV.

Few minutes....

I park up in the parking lot and exit the car, I walk through the store and greet the workers on my way In. It feels like I was away for a long time but it was just for a day, I enter my office before I could close the door Tay and Jade walk in.

"What's up with you girl?" Tay ask ploping in the sofa

"Yea you didn't came in yesterday and that text you send what's up?" Jade said doing the same.

I throw my bag on the desk and take a seat between them both, I look at them both with a sadly smile which cause them to look confuse.

"Latoya is everything OK? You don't look fine" Jade said concern.

"There's alot going on guys but I'll start off by saying am cheating on Carlos, please don't judge me I know its wrong and he's gonna kill me but I still did" I said in one breath.

"Latoya you didn't" Jade said looking shock.

"Are you serious girl? Who is he? Are is it a she? Just saying" Tay joke

I can't tell them its who, they both will freak out and keep asking more questions. I can't deal with these questions right now my head is exploding, I just don't know what to do.

"Yes I did Jade and I can't tell you guy who he is and please understand OK I will tell you but not now" I said

"Ok tell us when you are ready but am worrying about what Carlos will do to you if he finds out" Jade said worried

"I will figure it out I guess" I mumble

"So is he hot and handsome? Is the sex good?........" Tay squeal

"Tay!" Jade and I shout.

"What? Can't I ask a question? I'm just trying to build convo to cheer her up" he said with attitude "soooo about the sex" he said batting his lashes.

Jade give him a dirty look which cause me to giggle, she look really worry and I know its because she know who Carlos is and what he's capable of. Tay on the other side just want to cheer me up he doesn't like seeing sad. I message buzz on my phone and I open it.

Unknown number: I hope you get Carlos signature on those documents, I need them now so meet me at 6a Norwalk In the old warehouse and come alone. *Angelo*

I stare on the message and I start to feel light headed and nervous, I look up and see Tay and Jade staring on me. I shrug my shoulder and smile a little so they wouldn't expect anything.

"I'm gonna run out for a bit so you guys are in charge" I said smiling

" Are you going to see him? " Jade ask motherly.

"Yes I need to talk to him about something before Carlos get back tomorrow" I said grabbing my bag.

A few minutes later I park up infront of a crappy old warehouse house, I take the folder from my bag and exit the car. I walk in the warehouse, it was a little dark and dusty.

"Hello, Angelo" I called

I didn't hear an answer so I start walking around, I then saw him standing in a corner facing me with a smirk on his face.

"So can I get my documents now" he said stretching his hands to me.

"No! First you have to give me all copy of those photos you have" I said pulling the folio away.

He stop in his tracks and laugh really hard, " clever girl I know you would ask for them, here you go five copies and the flash drive there on" he said

He hand them to me and I check them, five folders with the pictures and a flash drive. I hand him the folio with the documents and he gladly take them.

"Latoya you're a good woman, why did you ever married my cousin? He isn't good for you and never will" he said with sympathy.

"Because I love him and he love me too, why he's not  good for me?" I said coldly

"Latoya am only telling you this for your own good, you need to get away from Carlos......... He trail but I cut him off

" Why?" I yell

"Because he's a murder, Latoya he kill your........ He trail

We hear footsteps coming towards us and I turn around to see who it was. When I turn back around Angelo disappear leaving me alone, I start to feel scared and reach for a broken glass on the floor.
