"Ugh, where is the ambulance, they should have been here by now," I said, knowing that if they don't hurry she'll- .
"Cough, cough." When I turned my head to Sarah, I saw her coughing up blood.
"Sarah!" I yelled. "Are you okay?"
"I-I don't think I can hold on much long-"
"No, I won't let you let you die on me," I said as tears started to run down my face.
"Think about it. You can't take me to a hospital because there's not even one near this place and 'cough' plus don't you ever watch movies, the ambulance never shows up on time," Sarah said, breathing harder.
"Sis, I-I can't b-breathe." Sarah started to accept the fact that she's going to die, but on the inside she's very "Scared, I - I'm scared," Sarah cried.
"It's okay, I'm right here," I said while putting my hands on hers.
"I know this is going to sound cheesy, but tell everyone that I love them and 'cough, cough' one... other thing, tell the ambulance... that they..... suck," Sarah whispered to me as she gently closed her eyes.
"Sarah, Sarah, SARAH!!!"
"Maya, Maya, MAYA!!" My mom screamed.
"Huh?"
"Geez, I kept calling your name like ten times. Anyways, I just wanted to tell you that your friend is here, he said you guys are going out to have some fun for your birthday. Oh, wait. How you two been dating behind my back," my mom said, trying to make me blush.
"Moooom," I wined.
"Okay, okay. I was just kidding." I grabbed my navy blue leather jacket that says "crying on the inside," put it on, and walked out of my room.
"Geez, she's so sensitive."
