When I Turned 16 (Memories)

"Take 5"(Chapter 11)

Farah and I went to the  film room where Michael was waiting for me. As we entered the room, there was Michael, talking to many people. Getting things in order, saying "where is the cast? I want the background to be taken here. Is the green sheet ready?" He looked very busy. To think that yelling his name would get his attention.

"Hey, Michael." I yelled across the room.

"Oh, you're here," Michael said after sending one of the crew members off.

"What's going on here?" I asked.

"Well, remember that short film I told you me and my buddies are doing?"

"Yeah."

"Well, this is it," Michael said, presenting the room.

"Wow. So what part do I have with this?" I said, wondering what he'll have me do.

"You are going to be the main character of this short film," Michael said.

"What!!!"

"Isn't that great?" Michael asked.

"How is that great, Michael? I don't even know what the film is about," I said.

"Don't worry, don't worry. I have all the lines you need to memorize in this folder," Michael said as he handed me a yellow folder.

"*Sigh,* when do I have to memorize all this by?" I asked.

"Umm, in about a month."

"Michael, I don't even know if I'll be able to do that in a month."

"Just try. If not, I already have a backup actress to do the part if you don't want to do it," Michael begged.

"Fine, I'll do it." I said, so he would stop begging me.

"Wait, so what can I do?" Farah asked.

"Umm, you like designing clothes right?" Michael asked.

"I do have sense of style, yes," Farah said.

"Then you can be the co- manager of the clothes' design for the cast."

"Okay, that sounds fun."

"Alright. You see that girl over there with the purple hat on?" Michael asked.

"Yeah," Farah said after finding that girl.

"She's the manager of the clothes' design. Why don't you introduce yourself, she'll tell you what you need to do." Michael suggested.

"Okay," Farah said while walking towards that girl.

After that, the three of us went on our own. Michael was running around, getting everything together for his film. Farah was working with the manager, amazed about all the clothes they were going to use for the short film. And here I am, sitting in a chair in a corner, trying to make sense of the story that Michael gave me. The story is about a girl who meets a guy and they were in love at first site. The couple were inseparable until something came between that couple. They were just too much of the opposite. When one of them is going through some hard times, the other doesn't understand what's wrong with them. Which leads them into arguing a lot and instead of making good memories, they had miserable ones. The girl, Lisa, thought that it was time that they wouldn't see each other anymore. The boy, Ryan, begged Lisa not to leave him. He wanted to make the relationship work, but she left for the sake of their relationship. After some time, when the couple split apart, as each day goes by they start realize how much they missed each other and wanted to see each other again, so they did. When they meet each other at the park at sundown, they were not trying to show it at first, but they were really happy to see each other again and after they talked it over together, Lisa hugged Ryan tightly. The couple was finally together with there final words of their reunion, "I love you."

"Wow. I never knew Michael was into romantic stories," I thought.
