She sat not too far from them, watching as they talked and the way he smiled at her. That beautiful, bright smile that reached his warm, sparkling eyes. She watched as he leaned closer to her and laughed and talked to her. She watched as they enjoyed themselves, wishing she could have been the one to make that beautiful, warm smile spread across his lips. Wishing she was the one he would lean into. And as she sat quiet and lonely, her thoughts wandering, she realised she cared for him. Cared for him more than she would have thought and more than he could imagine. She cared so much that it almost hurt.



Little did she know, he was watching her the entire time.
