As he stared into her eyes, he couldn't help but feel as though he was falling. Falling from the highest building with nothing to hold him up. And for a second, his eyes flicked down to her lips. But before he could process anything and before she noticed, his eyes were back up, staring into hers once more. The longer they gazed at each other, the faster he felt himself falling. Falling towards the ground with no way to survive the descent. It was frightening but the look in her eyes filled him with exhilaration. Before he could fall and crash, she broke their trance and looked away. Realising the thick tension in the air, he too looked away, only just missing the pink hue spread across her cheeks. He cleared his throat and shook his head to clear his thoughts before turning his attention to her once again. She glanced back as well and through the subtle meeting of their eyes, they agreed to part ways.
