The loud chime of a bell rung through the convenience store as Suzy Sheep pushed open a heavy glass door. She quickly checked her wallet, noticing the little change she had to spare. Gulping, she stuffed it into her pocket and slowly walked to the abandoned aisle at the end of the store. She stood in front of the paper section, taking nervous glances towards the large clock hung on the wall. Her palms grew sweaty as the digits inched closer to midnight. Wiping her hands on her shirt, she inclined to her last resort and reached down to take a mask out of her bag. She stretched it over her head and threw her bag down, pulling out a bow in the process. She took a stack of blue paper and a few pencils before marching to the checkout with a newfound confidence.
'Quick, ring it up!' She yelled at the man behind the counter. His confused expression quickly changed into one of horror as he noticed the stationary. Suzy threatened him, sparks flying from the electric arrowheads as she pulled her bow back. A tear animation "rolled" down his face, synthetic arms scanning the items with jerkish movements. She snatched the supplies and pressed a button on her arrow before shooting him in the chest. The arrowhead split and tiny bots crawled into his chest plate, chewing through his motherboard as his face switched off and the humanoid fell back with a crash.
Unfazed, Suzy shot another few arrows at the security cameras, motion sensors and lights. In the darkness of the store, she morphed back into her animal form and flew out of the building. The new criminal hid in plain sight as the authorities arrived, completely unaware of Suzy Sheep's bee form as she disappeared into the night sky.
