I will not be updating this weekend like I normally do. School has been really busy, and it seems like the teachers are trying to cram in all the projects they can before the last day.But that is not the only reason.
There has recently been a death in my family. A friend in my family passed away due to cancer. They were around 53 years of age, and was diagnosed with colon cancer. They recently had been suffering greatly, and on Monday they left us.
I don't tell you this for the pity of others, or as an excuse not to write. I only tell you this because things happen. This person wasn't going to make it, and we all knew this. But we made the last of their time here on earth the best it could be.
And I believe that everything happens for a reason. This person's suffering is now gone, and they no longer have to be in pain. This person is one of the reasons that I started writing this book. They inspired me.
I will say now, to make things a bit happier, that the book is going to start picking up. My emotions tend to inspire me, so things will start getting good. But I will not be updating until next Saturday, or maybe sometime towards the end of the week.
Until next time,
Stella
