"You do realize I can fight my own battles, right?" Aubrey

-Aubrey's POV-

I sat up, grogginess slowly seeping out of my body.

Yawning and stretching I glanced at myself in the window, seeing my tangled mass of blonde hair sticking up at odd angles and complimenting my 'I just woke up look', that's when my tired mind registered the person lying next to me.

I looked over, seeing Loki asleep under my galaxy comforter, he looked so peaceful, almost...like an angel. I smiled softly and leaned down, kissing his nose. His eyes fluttered open and a grin began to form on his features.

"Hello, beautiful." He muttered, rubbing the sleep from his eyes before running a hand through his way too perfect hair and then put his arms behind his head. His eyes studying me.

I looked down, "Why is your hair so perfect and mine looks like a birds nest?"

He chuckled and grabbed my arm, gently pulling back down and turning on his side to face me, his eyes studied me once more before he ran a hand through my hair, running his thumb along my cheek and giving me a soft smile.

"I'm a God and, besides, I think you look positively perfect in every way."

My face felt flushed and I hid behind my hands.
I was enjoying staring into his eyes but, like every good moment, it had to be ruined.

I jolted up when I heard my doorknob jiggle and Tony walked into my room, his tablet in his hands.

I froze.

"Hey, kid we were going to go out to breakfast you wanna-." He looked up and rage passed across his face.

"What the hell are you doing in here!" Tony slammed his tablet down onto my desk and grabbed Loki, ripping him out from under my covers.

"Tony stop!" I screamed, getting out of bed.

"You aren't a God anymore you Thor wannabe I can and will kill you!"

"Tony he didn't do anything!"

Tony had his hand wrapped around Loki's throat. Loki looked unamused, staring blankly at Tony, nothing phased him.

Tears were starting to form at the corner of my eyes, "Tony please nothing happened!"

"THEN EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT HAPPENED AND WHY HES IN MY LITTLE SISTER'S ROOM!" Tony growled Loki's eyes flickered from Tony to me.

"Tony, I had an anxiety attack and he was the only one here, nothing is going on between us I swear!"

I met Loki's eyes, and my heart shattered. He looked so hurt, his expression changed icing back over.

I tried to look at him, tell him I was just saying that to get Tony off his back, instead he shoved Tony off of him.

"If you were ever here for you so-called 'sister' maybe I wouldn't have to help her through her weaknesses," Loki stated plainly, Tony's eyes locked on him as he made is way calmly towards the door.

"Loki," I muttered, reaching out not wanting him to leave.

Tony glared at me and I looked down at the ground.

"Get the hell out." Tony murmured.

"With pleasure," Loki hissed.

With that he opened the door and slammed it shut, I closed my eyes and listened to him stomp down the hallway back to his room.
