Yuzu

My eyes widened in shock as I looked into Mei's purple eyes that seemed to hold no emotion whatsoever before I started to have a huge freak out.

"HUH?!"
I say dramatically before bumping my back into the wall behind me as I began to stutter.

"Wh-Why on earth are you here?!"

"Nice to meet you. I am Aihara Shou's daughter. Aihara Mei."

I couldn't believe it, she completely ignored my question!

"I'll be in your care starting today mother."

I gasped dramatically as frantically started to point at her before speaking.

"No, no, she's my mama!"

"You don't need to be so formal! We're family already."

My eyes widened in even more shock as my mouth hung open idiotically while my mama addressed to me sternly.

"You be nice to her too Yuzu!"

Mei

I tried holding in a smirk as I saw the look of shock mixed with horror on Yuzuz face as I glanced towards the middled aged women before speaking formally.

"I'll be in your care starting today, mother."

Yuzu practically gasped dramatically making me realize that this might have been the first time she was told I was coming. I actually overheard her mother talking to her about me living with them just a few halls down.

I guess that's the perks of being a werewolf though.

"You don't need to be so formal! We're family already."

I restrained myself from rolling my eyes at her. I still couldn't believe that my father decided to get engaged to a human.

But the choices he makes where not under my control. Yuzu's on the other hand.

"You be nice to her Yuzu!"

"B-But b-but!"

"No buts, you and Mei will be sharing a room so you might as well as to try and get on her good side."

"So have you been doing council work this whole time?"

"It's always like this yes."

"That's so noble of you. I bet your hungry right? Tonight I went all out for you, Mei-Chan."

I send my new mother a small smile as I began to check Yuzu out. It was strange really mostly because I am never interested in anyone. but Yuzu was different.

And I intend to find out why she was so different.

Yuzu

"That's so noble of you. I bet your hungry right? Tonight I went all out for you Mei-Chan."

I grumble as I flipped my thin steak in the sizzling pan thinking to myself... More like I'm going out of my way to cook all of us a descent meal.

God why.

My new little sister could have been anyone, but instead I end up with her! Each time I look at her I replay the scene of her touching me. I wanted to ask her why she kept touching me like that but I was scared to know the answer.

But seeing as she is my new little sister I'll have time to get to know her which will be good.

I think.

Sighing heavily as I stared blankly at the food I cooked while i listened to mama I couldn't help but space out a bit.

"Yuzu will be the big sister since her birthday's earlier, so that makes you the little sister Mei."

"Yes."

"Aren't you happy to have such a cute little sister, Yuzu?"

I look over towards Mei who was practically staring daggers at me while holding her knife and fork up making me grow pale as I begin to panic.

She's glaring, she's glaring at me!

"My, but you're so shy, Mei-Chan."

She's totally not! Get a clue mama!
I say to myself as I begin to wave my hands back and fourth. Jeez, this is getting stupid. I think to myself while roughly cutting into my steak before taking a large bite.

"Yuzu you're eating way to fast!"

My mother ranted making me growl deeply before speaking harshly.

"I'm growing!"

"Good grief, sorry Mei-Chan"

"It's fine."

"Speaking of which Mei-Chan you've been living with your grandfather until now right?"

"No, I lived in my fathers house."

"Oh? But Shou-san's always traveling isn't he?"

"Huh?"

"I haven't seen my father in nearly five years."

Wow. That's kinda sad, but at least I got to know a little bit about Mei, right?
