My Not So Normal Family

It's been ten days since I have last seen Mei or Matsuri and quite frankly I feel weak, weaker then Normal actually.

I have wanted to mention it to Matsuri but she has been scarce since our first date. And there's no way I'm showing my face around Mei, not after what happened with us when her father came to visit.

Flashback

Yuzu

"Sensei?"

"Huh?"

"Mei you know I'm not a teacher anymore so please call me papa..."

"Wait, your Mei's papa?" He smirked as he nodded his head before letting me go as I rushed back towards Mei with an excited glint in my eyes.

This is great now that her fathers here she could stop working and get the rest she deserves. "Hey papa you should know that Mei became student council president her first year of high school! not only that but she gets good grades too!"

"Stop."

I could hear Mei fairly clearly but I chose to ignore her just so I could tell her father the wonderful things she has been doing.

"Also she scores number one every time our test scores come ou...."

"STOP!"

I winced at Mei's harsh yet commanding tone making me frown deeply as I saw tears threatening to escape her very eyes.

"I'm not going back to the academy Mei."

My heart broke a little as I watched a single tear stroll down Mei's face before she rushed into our bedroom.

"Mei!" I tried opening the door but unfortunately she locked it.

"Would you like to go to the store with me to get some dinner?"

Sighing heavily I nod my head in confirmation as both of us left the house.

"I'm sorry if I caused a mess between you too but Mei needs to know that my abilities to lead lies elsewhere."

"Then why haven't you told her that?"

"I have, she just can't let this situation go. Now enough about the academy, I want to know how your doing on your hunger for blood."

Shock rested on my face as I looked towards my new papa.

"Your mother and I don't keep secrets from each other Yuzu, she even knows that Mei and I are wolves. And I also know that my father has forbid you to drink any human blood."

" it's honestly not that difficult for me to forget about it, I mean I still like human food which helps my craving for it."

"I see, has Mei figured out your a vampire yet?"

"She knew way before I even knew I was one." He smiles as he examined the ice cream intently.

"Mei still likes sweets right?"

"I think so."

Going back to our apartment I told Mei's father that I would try to get her out of her room to which he replied with a don't worry about it making me frown deeply as I made my way towards our bedroom.

Very gently I knock on the door before testing it. And much to my surprise it opened.

"Mei?" There Mei sat on her bed looking out the window blankly making my heart ache as I reluctantly sat on the bed with her.
