Caught In Between

(Hangang Park, Minjae POV)

I was in the park before I start recording my debut single, walking around. Just as I was minding my own business, I notice Su-Hee walking up to me. "Hello Minjae Oppa," Su-Hee says. I take my earbuds out and say, "Hey Su-Hee. What're you doing here?" "I was just reading over some of the lines for our drama," she explains, "I was sitting under the tree as I was reading. I was finishing up actually."

"Well since I got my step in, want to go somewhere to eat?" I asked her. Su-Hee says, "Sure. I could go for some grilled meat. I haven't had traditional food for a while anyways." "Alright then," I said. I called a taxi for us, and I let Su-Hee in first. I told the driver to take us to a nearby traditional Korean restaurant.

Upon arriving, I tipped the driver and helped Su-Hee out of the car. We went inside, found a quiet area to sit at, and the waiters brought some uncooked bulgogi, rice, lettuce, perilla leaves, soup, garlic, sauce, and kimchi. Su-Hee helped me grill the meat so we can eat together.

(Su-Hee POV)

It was really nice of Minjae Oppa to treat me to lunch, even though he didn't have to. "The bulgogi looks done," Minjae says, "Let's eat." I smiled as we started eating the food we prepared. This is a quite relaxing lunch if you ask me. After a while, we got finished, and Minjae payed for the meal.

We started walking around and talking some more. "So how's your training coming along?" I asked him nervously. He says, "You know. It's rough at first. But after a while, I got use to it. It's quite fun working under JYP. What's not so great is the rumors people started spreading about my twin sister and my best friend."

"Rumors?" I asked, Oh crap, I totally screwed myself over on this one. "Yeah, apparently someone was in the woods near the waterfall they were at, and caught them kissing. JYP is still talking to the media about it, but he's not going to let something like this ruin Jaeyeon and Eunhyuk's relationship," Minjae explains, "I just hope this doesn't end up like what happened to your mother and my parents."

I nervously laughed and said, "Yeah. It would be awful if something like this ruined their relationship." "I have to get to the studio now," he says, "We're already recording our song for our debut album. The boys need me." "Okay," I said, "see you later Oppa." He smiles and goes to the building.

I'm so screwed! What if Minjae Oppa finds out I'm the one who made that tweet?! What if that snitch Jaeyeon ends up finding out and snitches on him?! If either one happens, Minjae Oppa will hate me forever and he'll never fall in love with me. I just have to stay under the radar until all of this is over.

(recording room, Jaeyeon POV)

I can't believe we're actually doing this. We're recording our debut song so we can start filming our music video soon. After we got finished, we left the room so the boys can use it. I started looking through my phone, and I noticed a story about me is on the internet.

It was about me and Eunhyuk at Jeju! "Guys! There's a huge problem," I said to my friends. Everyone gathered around me and saw the story. Jewel says, "Adam and I noticed that last night while getting some snacks." "This must be why Iron said I had a girl in his rap," Eunhyuk says.

"Who could've done such a thing like this?" Hyun-Joon asks. Mihyung says, "Maybe some saesangs followed you and Eunhyuk or something, Jaeyeon." I was thinking, and instantly remembered Suzy's past, and Su-Hee came to mind. I said, "I think I knew who did this," and before anyone can ask, we saw Minjae enter the room.

He says, "Sorry I'm late everyone. I lost track of time while eating lunch." "We're just about to record the song Minjae," Jinseok says, "So you're good." My little brother smiles as he and the boys entered the recording room. The girls and I went to our stylists to get our hair dyed and get changed into some outfits so we can start filming our music video.

(ballroom set, Chae-Lee POV)

Because our debut music concept is about royalty, we're dressed up as popular princesses. My hair was dyed blonde, as well as Jewel and Seoyeon's hair. Mihyung's hair is brown. Bre's hair is red. Jaeyeon, Luna, Young-Ki, and Natty's hair is still black to go with their princesses.

We're currently dressed in my dance outfits for the video. Tomorrow, we're going to film in our princess outfits. The director has us get into position as we get ready to do the dance we learned a few days ago to go with our song. "3, 2, 1, start!" the director says.

The song starts playing and we started dancing to the music that goes with our song and choreography. The cameras filmed different angles of the dance, and we were following the rhythm naturally. As soon as we finished the dance and did the ending pose, the director says, "Cut! Great job girls. You're finished for the day."

We started walking out of the studio and went to the dorms to get our purses and wallets so we can buy some groceries to make dinner at the dorm. On our way out, we notice the boys with their newly dyed hair. Of course, we all noticed Jaeyeon admiring Eunhyuk's blonde hair.

(dorm, Eunhyuk POV)

The stylists dyed our hair different colors for our music video. Mine, Kouta, and T.J.'s hair was blonde, Adam's is brown, Hyun-Joon's hair is red, Jinseok's is an ash gray color, Bong-Un's is black with blue and green highlights, and Kwang-soo and Minjae's is still black. On our way to the van so we can go film the dance scene for our music video, we notice the girls as they were going to head out.

"You guys just got done?" Kouta asks. Mihyung says, "Of course. We're going to the grocery store so we can shop for some ingredients to make dinner here at the dorm." I looked at Jaeyeon and noticed she was looking at me, and I smiled. I guess she likes my new hair color.

"We're going," Jaeyeon says, "see you tomorrow." "See you Jaeyeon," I said to her. She smiles at me as she and the girls left. They boys and I got into the van with our manager as we went to Jamsil Arena to shoot our dance scene, since our music video concept involves basketball.

"I think Jaeyeon is digging your new hair style Eunhyuk," Kwang-soo teases. I told him, "Cool it. She's obviously going to notice me no matter what my hair color is. Besides, it makes me happy she notices me." "Speaking of Jaeyeon," Minjae says, "You two need to be careful about the rumors."

"I know Minjae, the boys already reminded me while you were walking and having lunch," I explained. Bong-Un asks, "By the way Minjae, when we were done warming up for the recording, I saw you outside of the building talking to Su-Hee. Was she with you when you went to lunch?"

"Uh," Minjae says, acting all shy again. We looked at him suspiciously with smirks on our faces as he says, "Yeah, but we were just talking, and she just so happen to finish reading her lines for our drama while I was already done with my walk. I didn't want to be ungentlemanly and not ask her if she was hungry."

"By the sound of it," I said, "I think you're beginning to fall in love with Su-Hee, who also happens to fight with Jaeyeon." "So what if I am," he says, "It's not like she's that terrible. After all, she did congratulate me on my dancing at the drama shoot, and she never back sassed me when we were at the restaurant."

"If you do happen to like her, it's okay," Hyun-Joon says. Jinseok says, "Just make sure if Jaeyeon does find out, that she doesn't rip you two to shreds. Especially since Jaeyeon thinks Su-Hee don't get along well."

(Minjae POV)

The boys and I were still talking about me and Su-Hee. I then told Jinseok, "Okay, okay Jinseok. I mean, it's not like Su-Hee is the one who's spreading the rumors. So don't worry." "I don't know Minjae," Jinseok says, "I mean, if you think about it, her mother did the same thing to your parents when your mother was pregnant with you and Jaeyeon."

"That doesn't mean Su-Hee is entirely like her mother," I said, "besides, Suzy learned her lesson after that, and now she and my parents are friends. My parents aren't the type to hold grudges, and they taught me not to hold any either." "We're here boys," our manager says.

We exit the van and went to get into our outfits and get our makeup and hair done. I'm still confused about Su-Hee, and how I really feel about her. I know Su-Hee isn't as bad as she seems, but could she really be the one to tell everyone that my twin sister and my best friend are dating? As much as I love my sister, I'm still sure Su-Hee wouldn't go that far to hurt her. I don't know what to believe anymore.
